   This was our second night in a row eating here at the Chesterfield Inn - great menu options and service was fabulous! From the time Mike checked us in and seated us, to Esme as our attentive and friendly wait person to Henry managing the dining room and bringing us our food for each of the four course meal, it was an amazing dinner and experience. The service was above and beyond including Henry driving to a local bakery to attempt getting me Lemon Meringue pie for dessert tonight after I asked at dinner last night if that was on the menu for Easter today. Love the Wentworth Inn, the restaurant, staff and service!

   Terrible breakfast. How do you mess up breakfast! Poor quality for expensive price. Expected better from Wentworth.

   First time having dinner here - food was delicious, service was fabulous and location can’t be beat when you stay at The Wentworth.

   Dinner was wonderful. We had the prime rib. It was cooked to perfection. There was very little waste/trimmings. Service was very attentive. Very enjoyable experience. Would definetly go again.

   We had 6pm reservations on Saturday night and were seated immediately. We chose the prix fixe menu which includes an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert. We had shrimp cocktail and the waldorf salad for apps. The shrimp were big and delicious. The cocktail sauce was horseradish forward. The salad I will be working to recreate on my own. It was delicious! For dinner the special was prime rib which looked wonderful and my dining partner confirmed. I had the chicken thighs which were tender and juicy with beautiful sides to pair perfectly. We took dessert to go and the brownie with ice cream and the apple galette were both wonderful for a midnight treat. Every time we are in the area we make sure to eat here and we are never disappointed. I can't wait to go back!

   Great dining experience. Menu options were great and food was delicious. Service was excellent. Recommend a window seat by the fireplace. Will definitely return!

   Overall the food is very good. I started with the fried oysters appetizer which were excellent. For my main I had the salmon which was very good. Richard also had the fried oyster appetizer and then had the cider pork shank which is very good, very meaty, it was nice to see it not full of fat, which sometimes you can have in that sort of a dish. For dessert I had the chocolate brownie Sundae which I've had before when we've stayed here. Richard had the spice pineapple carrot dessert which was good. Overall a very good meal. They do need to in my impression update the menu a little bit though this is pretty much just about the same menu that we had when we were there over Labor Day. Now they do usually offer a chef's special but the main course is I think they need to kind of switch up now and then.

    This was the best meal we had in a week of skiing in Maine and New Hampshire. Prices were reasonable, especially given the level of cuisine; we paid a lot more at a similar venue in Maine and this meal was much better overall. Food presentation and flavors were outstanding. The wine list was reasonably priced and had a good range of options. Service was very good and the setting was quite pleasant. We'll be back!
