Beautiful setting. Had high hopes. Drinks were good. Food, almost all of it, from apps to desert, was subpar to borderline inedible. Catch of the day, blackened snapper, presented more like shark. Very tough and dry.

Our first meal in Exuma and we loved everything about 23 North. Conch fritters, fresh catch grouper, spiny lobster, and baked risotto were all delicious. The staff is super friendly and well prepared to answer any questions. Hope to return again soon!

23° North has a lot going for it on paper—an attractive waterfront setting, attentive and friendly service, and a menu that sounds promising. Unfortunately, the execution left something to be desired during our visit. The steak arrived unevenly cut, which led to inconsistent cooking throughout—some bites were perfectly done while others were noticeably over or undercooked. The other entrée, a grouper with mango salsa, was decent but didn’t quite rise to the level we’d hoped for. It was fresh but lacked the vibrant flavors the menu description suggested. The service was genuinely great—our server was warm, knowledgeable, and prompt—but even excellent hospitality couldn’t fully make up for the kitchen’s shortcomings. The ambiance was pleasant overall, with views that hint at what could be a memorable dining experience, though the bright lighting made it feel a bit more like lunch than a relaxed dinner setting. There were quite a few open tables, which surprised us at first, but perhaps Monday nights are just quiet. In the end, 23° North felt like a place with strong potential that just didn’t quite deliver on this visit.

Our visit to 24 North was really nice. The welcome and service was really nice and the food was generally good. The only issue was that our main course fish dishes were either over or undercooked. Shame as the rest was great.

I was hoping not to be fooled again but alas we were. Food, though expensive is great, and service was excellent. What earned the single star was the bar service and wine pours. I ordered 2 gin and tonics, which came out in 2 different glasses, one of which was a rocks glass. Absolutely offensive, insulting and disrespectful. Then my wife’s wine pour was equally shorted; what was worse was the 4 other glasses of wine that went by us were at least 2 ounces more!!! Which led us to believe it was because they were staying at the resort; we were asked 3 times if we were. Why would it matter? Well, now we know; we were slighted because of it. One pour for guests and one for everyone else????Despicable behavior. I fell for it again but this is the last time, and I’m going to let everyone know. Tell the bartender to get off his phone and do his job . Shameful. $240 wasted and yes I’m still angry. And for the record; I’m a 30 year bartender, food and beverage manager and level 2 wine cert, and you owe us an explanation

The restaurant was extremely loud — three large tables with families and young children added significantly to the noise level. The food was okay, but not the best I’ve had on the island, despite the premium prices. I ordered the grouper, which was nicely grilled and cooked well, but unfortunately it was served cold — likely due to it being placed on a cold plate, as was my husband’s snapper. This really spoiled the dish. Would I recommend? No. Would I return? No.

Wonderful meal and experience! Everything was delicious but the shaved Brussels salad, lobster, Parmesan smashed potatoes and sugar snapped peas all stood out. Also, the passion fruit crème brûlée was like nothing I’ve ever had before- outstanding! Not to mention our server Hilton was an attentive and fun and the manager, Joe, was a pleasure to talk with! Highly recommend- you won’t be disappointed!
