   A great dining experience. Creative food done very well couples with outstanding cocktails. Pleasant and friendly staff. Chef Damon is a talented chef and a wonderful presence in the dining room.

   The food, service and ambience was great. This spot in downtown Bridgeport is a lovely find. If you are looking for tasty and delicious food on your night out, this is the place for you. Go and enjoy 😉 😊 you will not be disappointed.

   One of the best dining experiences in Ct. You feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. Amazing team. Fantastic food and have always had an outstanding evening. Highly recommended!!

   party of four and we sat in an unusually high cushioned bench seat booth. That aside, the food was delicious. We tried the chard broccolini, Caesar salad, the halibut dish with chard corn, lamb chop Lollipops and every last dish was delectable. A multitude of flavors that all blended well. both owners, Wesley and Damon, the chef, Came out to inquire, however everything was. All servers tended to the tables which gave the feeling that we were being taken excellent care of. Five stars !!

   We loved everything about our first visit to 29 Markle! The food, staff, Chef and owners were amazing. Tables with larger parties can be loud given the smaller space. We will make this restaurant a regular date night! Cheers!!

    My wife and I have been to 29 Markle 6 times. We really love the food. It is consistently top notch, and rivals most restaurants in the Fairfield county area. Our only complaint, and it's a big one, is that the service is consistently horrible. When greeted at the door when we arrived last night, the first thing out of the greeters mouth was that there was a 90 minute limit on our stay. Now, mind you, I fully understand the reason for that...many restaurants have adopted this. However, when you have to wait forever for your drink orders to reach the table, it is very frustrating. Throughout our 90 minute stay, we seemed to be waiting more than half the time for our drinks to reach the table. To top it off, at the end of our meal, one of the waiters (not our original one) asked us if we'd like anything else. We ordered coffees. Again, we waited only to have our original waiter come back and ask us if we'd like anything else. We asked him to check on our coffees, and he said he'd follow up. He then returned to our table a few minutes later to inform us that they could only make espresso vs regular coffee. ?????? To sum up, excellent food, horrible service. We'll keep going back hoping that at some point they can figure out how to improve the service. The staff is very friendly, but they're in need of a manager who can manage the front end of the restaurant the same way the chef manages the kitchen.
