   First off the restaurant probably shouldn’t have been open, both bathrooms were out of order. Second we got seated in the patio area where a large table of rowdy 10-12 year olds were sitting with their “parents” and I couldn’t even concentrate to pick a dish it was so loud, parents just let them scream. Thankfully we moved inside which others were doing but maybe politely ask them to tone it down. Food was just like 5th tavern (decent) and service was a little slow but she was attentive

   The service was good. The music was loud. The chicken Marsala was globby and cold and couldn’t find a mushroom. Wouldn’t get it again. My husband got shrimp and pasta and that was great.

   This WAS one of our favorite restaurants but this time everything was off…First, we both ordered Lemon Drop Martinis. We didn’t get them until after the appetizers and one was very yellow and the other was almost clear. We pointed this out and they made us fresh ones, but they took a very long time. On the food, I ordered the Jumbo Shrimp Scampi with the Bruschetta on the side, and we both ordered salads. My salad arrived at the same time as entree, and the Bruschetta was not on the side it was mixed in, and my husband never received his salad. I asked to speak to the manager and told him of the issues and he didn’t seem that concerned. My husband and I have both worked in the restaurant industry and we think the waitress needed much more training that she received. It’s going to be a few months before we dine there again.

   The view was spectacular, but things went downhill after that. Our drinks were good. Wine list is mediocre. Our server tried to be attentive, but there was a table of about 20 people celebrating a birthday near us and they diverted most of her attention. Our nachos were described as being layered, but they were really just a massive pile of chips with a bit of lukewarm chicken and cheese on top. Very disappointing.

   Excellent food and very relaxing to gaze upon the lake as I ate. We stayed quite some time after we finished eating (no one was waiting to be seated), and no one rushed us. That meant a lot to us because we hadn't seen each other for a long time and wanted to catch up.

   The service tonight was off. Very slow. Had to repeat orders and waited way too long for drinks. 5th person’s dinner came out late after we had all been served.

   A delicious Cantina Tuesday dinner in the patio overlooking the lake on a beautiful night! Complementary chips and salsa, chicken enchilada for him and chicken fajita for me; awesome all around. Server Brandon was awesome. Gracias, y’all!
