   Amazing experience- a beautiful restaurant with great service and delicious food. Highest marks to Chef Brian Walter and GM Amanda Maloney for a flawless Valentine's Day dinner experience. Despite a sold-out dining room attention was high, noise level low and service was on point and attentive. The cocktails were delicious- even the mocktails were created with an eye toward flavor and complexity. We both loved the meal- the standout was the vegetarian caviar amuse bouche, the ox and egg and black tie scallop appetizers, and delicious entrees of stuffed quail and olive-crusted dorade. We will be returning.

   The night was magical as the snow coming down outside further enhanced the ambiance. The foia gras was my favorite, and the turtle cake suggested by Ray and Josh was the best ending. Amazing Service and attention to detail was provided by a great team including Pablo, Ray and Josh. I will definitely dine here again.

   Brunch was delicious! Lobster thank you ! Yummy! Cornbeef hash- home style delicious !! Mimosa and Bloody Mary - perfect. Interior design , so elegant. We loved it ! Thank you Eric

   87 Sussex - A hidden gem in JC I don’t often give outstanding reviews across the board, but 87 Sussex really blew past my expectations! I’ve heard great things about this restaurant, so was very excited to try it. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed and upscale without feeling pretentious. The cocktail menu is uniquely crafted as is the dining menu. We came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and everything from the food to the service were exceptional. Our server Vincent was attentive to our needs, provided us with various recommendations from the dinner and wine menus, and we never felt we needed to seek him out. Each of our courses came out in a timely manner without feeling rushed. The bluefin tuna appetizer is full of flavor, and the short rib entree was delicious. Overall, I’m so glad I chose this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, and I absolutely cannot wait to come back to try more of the menu!

   I highly recommend this restaurant. All staff was friendly & attentive. Service was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious. Trying to decide what to order was difficult because everything sounded amazing. I would definitely go back!!

    If you are looking for a unique + phenomenal dining experience, head on over to 87 Sussex. We shared all dishes - the octopus carpaccio, tuna tartar, ox, escargot wontons were mouth watering. A mix of lots of different tastes, everything delicious. Pork Chop was our favorite entree. Great ambience, music, upscale. Beautiful restaurant perfect for any occasion with lots of hidden gems to taste.
