Ristorante A CA MIA is open every April and closes at the end of Fall.

We are located across from the Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church on the Washington Street Mall. We are available for Private Parties, Rehearsal Dinners, and Christmas Parties.

The historical building that now houses Ristorante A CA MIA was built in 1872. William Essen operated a bakery and ice cream parlor until 1914 when he sold it to his niece and her husband, Carl and Margaret Kokes. The business remained in his family for over 60 Years. The bakery is one of the oldest bakeries in continuous operation in the country. By the mid 1930s, the ice cream parlor had become the dining room and the business was operated as a restaurant as it is to this day. Our kitchen is under the direction of Chef Todor Videv. We are available for private parties. We offer early seating dinner selections. We accommodate well behaved children.

    It's been about a year since we last visited CA Mia. As with our last visit, again our experience was very good. We were promptly seated upon arrival and given our choice of indoors or out. Our server immediately told us of the specials. Bread and water arrived promptly and our wine was opened and poured. My wife had one of the specials which was a tortellini-type pasta in an alfredo sauce with pancetta and peas. It was excellent. Once again I had their crab cake Italiano. It was delicious served with a side of pasta topped with pesto and bruschetta. Service was great, as was the food. I would highly recommend when in Cap[e May.

    Always a yummy meal. From the bread to the fresh pasta it’s consistently excellent. An Attentive staff in a quaint building with outdoor dining is a bonus.
