Our award winning Jola Eat Global Restaurant Group opened a third location in 2021. Since then, it has become a downtown hotspot with a trendy approach to the modern fine dining experience. Offering a unique combination of modern and classic coastal aesthetic in a sleek and rustic warehouse setting.

Located in Cleveland's Historic Warehouse District in the heart of Downtown, Acqua Di Luca has an innovative Italian menu with remarkably fresh seafood, unique pasta dishes, extraordinary steaks and much more.

We are excited to announce some significant changes within our restaurant family.
Acqua di Luca located at 500 W. St. Clair Avenue will be renamed Acqua di Dea.

These changes reflect our commitment to offering fresh and elevated dining. Acqua Di Dea will continue operations and ownership by Lola Jacaj.

Amazing food and great service! They noted my comment on my Open Table reservation about it being my husband’s birthday and brought a slice of cake. I didn’t even need to ask! I appreciate attention to detail!!

This spot is fair at best. None of the front of the house team provided a fine dining experience. I am far from saying that this location is bad or that a visit isn't worth it, merely that none of the details, that might elevate this location to fine dining, appeared to matter to the team. They have a coat check. They didn't offer it - thus most of the guests had coats hanging on the back of chairs- fine at a pizza joint, silly in a fine dining establishment. The menu presentation was non-existent. The specials were presented and described but the description lacked any character or nuisance. IE: Scallops on an onion with a sauce. At the close of the meal, when packed, was handed back to me in a plastic grocery bag. An after-diner/dessert menu was not presented but rather we were asked "Do you want dessert.". We passed. The soup special (nut/leek) was beautifully prepared, delicate and lovely. The bread service, also lovely. I can't tell you what it was served with as no one bothered to tell us. The salmon/puff pastry appetizer and the agnolotti - were ill balanced. In both, the bread/pasta was too thick and overpowered the delicate filling and while the sauce and topping on each helped - each could use some fine tuning. The scallop appetizer (special) was fair - if presented less than hot. The squid ink pasta w/ lobster - was better then most other dishes -pretty to look at, lovely small butter lobster tails, but served without any of the silverware that is typical of a lobster dish, forcing one to either open the lobster bear-handed or with a dinner fork. The cocktails were classic but well balanced enough - not creative though - for that go elsewhere The atmosphere, on a Friday night, was boring. The bar being in the dining room gave a more casual than upscale vibe as did the fact that the room was 75% empty. Restrooms were clean if uninspired. A bottle of GFS pink hand soap left on the sink-top, but nothing special about the space.

Great I loved the salmone- dirty martini unfortunately was not great. Way to dirty and I asked them to remake it and it still wasn’t good

Food was great. Service poor. Maybe it was the fact we were there on New Years eve (7pm). We were a tablenfor 2 and were neglected. Watch the waiter moving alot but for larger tables.

Unfortunately, they did not see our reservation when we arrived and the hostess seemed very annoyed. She didn’t take us to the table. She just pointed. It was also the waiter’s first official day and he had not learned any of the specials or the desserts. So he just to out the book and read to us. Food was tasty though and the atmosphere is very nice.

We've been to Acqua di Dea (formerly di Luca) twice before this -- at the same time of year over each of the past two years. We had outstanding experiences on previous visits, but this one was just... okay. Our server was not efficient and he wasn't particularly friendly either. When we wanted a wine recommendation, he showed little familiarity with the menu and didn't bother to ask for guidance from anyone onsite who might have known more about the bottles we were torn between. The risotto, which I'd had before, now has less king crab at the same price. And the bread, which again used to be remarkable, has changed and is now... mediocre. It was telling that when we walked in on the Saturday of this Holiday week, they were less than 50% full. Both prior visits were bustling. What was once a staple in our Anniversary weekend plans is now a thing of the past for us, and truthfully, I'm quite sad to see it fade. We expect more when paying a premium for a dining experience, so we're back on the hunt for something more special for our next visit to Cleveland.

The food was flavorless and lacked depth. The filet had absolutely no flavor, just a chunk of meat (though cooked properly). The sides were sub par and the lobster gnocchi was one of the only redeeming dishes. The bread was even old and stale. We also waited 15-20 minutes to see a server after being seated. Although she was pretty attentive after that. I loved Luca’s in the flats and thought this was the same owner but it really was a disappointment.
