Hailing from Florence, Italy, Adelmo Banchetti started his career in the food and beverage world at the tender age of 16. His work took him all over the world from ships to hotels, and finally, Dallas, Texas , where he worked at the legendary Fairmont Hotel’s Pyramid Room, the Mansion On Turtle Creek, and the Crescent Court Hotel. In 1989, he and his wife Eliza, who hails from the Mediterranean region, opened Adelmo’s Ristorante to rave reviews. Their love of family, friends, good food and wines is reflected, to this day, at Adelmo’s. We feature cuisine inspired by the Italian/ Mediterranean region as well as the herbs, spices and grains indigenous to its shores. Made with the freshest ingredients. Now, the tradition continues with their children Andrew and Lauren on board . We continue to be family owned and operated and offer award winning wine selections and personalized service, all in a rare old world setting.

Cocktails and wine were awesome. Calamari very chewy and needed salt. Also the pasta was very bland and needed salt. Some was tough. High prices for mediocre food.

Adelmos is on of Dallas' oldest and finest restaurants serving an old-world Italian kitchen experience. The menu is classic as is the atmosphere. Needy customers aboud from the park cities causing the service to be sometimes slow. Nonetheless, the food will overcome any shortfalls in service - Adelmo will not disappoint.

First time dining here. Excellent experience. Ordered tagliatelle and my husband had the veal scallopini. Both were excellent. Caesar salad with croutons. Bread pudding for dessert – outstanding. Will definitely return. Great if you want a quieter restaurant. Service was attentive and friendly.

Perfect all around experience yet again. Adelmo’s is my #1 favorite restaurant in the metroplex. Not only is everything great, it’s great every single time.

This is my "go to" place for good Italian Food. Family owned and operated. Daily specials to go along with the traditional menu items are always well prepared. Staff is knowledgeable.

Very nice meal with fun and friendly service. Chicken Milanese was quite good. The carrots and olives served with bread and butter weee a nice touch.
