   Huge upgrade with the new facility. Great outdoor space. The food is very good. The waitstaff is still new but friendly and accommodating. For brunch our group of 5 had the bloody Mary’s, huevos rancheros, breakfast burrito, eggs Benedict and frittata. All excellent.

   I always enjoy going to The Arizona Biltmore Adobe. Today, there was a “snafu” and we did not receive attention until we flagged someone down one hour after we were seated. Our waitress apologized profusely as she didn’t know she was assigned our table. It was a one-off but disappointing that no one took notice as servers continued to walk by. The cuisine is always delicious and so was the case today. If I were the manager in today’s case, and I was aware of the situation, I would have comped the meal.

   Attentive service; the trio appetizer and baked eggplant entree were very good; Enjoyed the Saturday evening piano music. Beautiful facility and setting.

   Great dinner, the service was slow but I’m almost positive there was a wedding reception outside, so not sure if that added to it. Overall great though.

   The issue with the Adobe is a disconnect between the marketing dept and operations. It is marketed as a restaurant within the luxurious Biltmore - and it has all the physical characteristics to fulfill this - but it's run more like a golf course club house. We live nearby and have been here now four times. There's always multiple people at the hostess stand who want to have a huge debate about which table we should be seated at and whose section that's going to be in and how annoyed the server is going to be if another table is added to their section. Then once we're finally seated, the limited menu doesn't change and four times in a row now are appetizers have arrived at the same time as our entrées. There's real potential here. It's like the wait staff and kitchen staff think they're working at a golf club clubhouse but the marketing staff thinks it's a full-fledged high-end restaurant. There's a huge disconnect that just doesn't work.

   The venue and view are outstanding. Great for drinks. Food was very average. Service for dinner was atrocious. A little effort and this place will be a hit.

   We ordered the chicken. The amount of chicken was comical. We commented to the waitress how small the portion was. She said “everyone has commented on that.” We asked for an additional portion. She said she would ask the manager. The manager sent the server back to us and said no we could not have another piece of chicken. But we could have free dessert. Really? I would not recommend the Adobe for dinner.

    This new version of the Adobe bar and grill at the Biltmore is getting better and better. The view is amazing. We were surprised that we couldn’t walk in for an outdoor table, they were all booked. The huevos rancheros tasted a lot better than they looked, they could use a better presentation but were very tasty. We look forward to more meals here.
