Experience The Ballantyne’s take on classic teas offered in England’s finest tea houses with a Southern flair. Enjoy a variety of tea blends from Rare Tea Company, the official tea of the Royal Family.

Tea is served each Saturday and Sunday from 1:00-4:00pm. The cost is $49 for adults or $64 including a glass of champagne and $29 for children, ages 12 and under. (plus tax and gratuity).
Credit Card Number needed to book a reservation. There is a 48-hour cancellation penalty. Any No-Shows will be charged $50 each.

Join us for our Christmas themed Afternoon Tea, where you will start to feel the excitement of the holiday season starting to encompass the Ballantyne Hotel. Festivi-tea, Tea will include a choice of sparkling wine or specialty cocktail, themed pastries and sandwiches. Price: Adult-$70.00/adult (plus tax & 24% gratuity) Child (12 and under)- $35.00/child (plus tax & 24% gratuity.)

Enjoy a Roaring 20's theme afternoon tea with complimentary Champagne, a variety of tea sandwiches, scones and pastries while listening to jazz tunes in at artfully decorated "Gatsby-esque" environment. Dress code: Flappers/1920 attire encouraged. Atmosphere will be artfully decorated to capture the spirit of the roaring twenties. 1920s Great Tea themed will include a choice of sparkling wine or specialty cocktail, themed pastries and sandwiches. Price: Adult-$70/adult (plus tax & 24% gratuity) Child (12 and under)- $35.00/child (plus tax & 24% gratuity) There is no cancellation fee if cancelled 48 hours head of reservation time. If cancelled after the 48 hours, a $50/person cancellation fee will be applied to credit card on file.
St. Patrick's Day High Tea

Share the "Luck of the Irish" with us on Sat & Sun, March 15th & 16 with a St. Patrick's Day themed High Tea experience at the Ballantyne Hotel! Reservations available from 1pm-4pm. Price is$70.00/Adult & $35.00/Child (12 year and under.) plus tax & 24% gratuity. Enjoy themed tea sandwiches, scones, pastries while sipping tea in a festively decorated environment. Adult tea will include a choice of either Champagne or Irish themed cocktail. Payment due at restaurant. There is a $50/person cancellation fee if cancelled after 48 hours of the reservation date.

Seated 20 min later than reservation, near the cold front door. Food was terrible, and for $70 per/person to receive a tray off what appeared to be store bough t desserts is insulting. Also the featured drink on the menu appeared to be included but shocked it was not, then a 24% tip added to a sub-par experience was a nice finishing touch. Never again!

We have been coming to the Christmas tea for over 10 years and it has become quite expensive! $90 a person. Once a year it’s definitely a treat. The food is great with the exception of the scones. Terrible. Hard and dry. Everything else was excellent.

The Christmas Tea was incredible. The food and service was wonderful! I wish it was less noisy since it was at the hotel entrance. I wish they had played Holiday music since it was advertised as a Christmas Tea. I would definitely do it again though!

We had a lovely time celebrating my daughter‘s birthday! The setting is elegant, inviting, and warm. Our server was very sweet and accommodating.

Our waitress didn’t really care to do her job. She came one time when she brought the food and at the end to collect the payment. We only had one napkin and I had to look for her the whole time we were there but she was nowhere to be found. I think it’s unfair to charge 24% tip for the service that doesn’t deserve that. Tea was great. Food was overpriced

Not worth the cost despite being the only afternoon tea experience in the area. You're paying to be at the Ballantyne and not for quality. Three small savories, one sweet sandwich, a scone, and four desserts per person. Nothing was memorable or even that good. Tea came out colder than it should have and they had to be asked multiple times to refresh the tea before they remembered. Add on a mandatory 24% service charge and it all falls flat.

The food and the service were excellent. I was pleased that my dietary restrictions (vegetarian) were accommodated. The seating area was lovely and provided a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. There is also plenty of free parking. I would definitely return.

Our server was amazing! She found out it was my twin granddaughters’ 13th birthday and she brought them mini cakes with candles! Before we left, she brought each of them a rose! Such a thoughtful action. My granddaughters continued to talk about how nice and sweet our server was after we got home!
