Excellent service from our host Trina, calm and elegant atmosphere. The sweet made with creativity and the taste is delicious and each piece is blend of flavors. I would though wish they do the same with the savory part.

We took our Mum to the Britain in Bloom afternoon tea for an early Mothers Day treat and were thoroughly impressed. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable and the ambience was so peaceful enabling us to have decent conversation. My Mum wears a hearing aid and commented on the lack of ambient noise that made it easy for her.

My teenage daughters and I had a fantastic time! We were so delighted to have Trina introduce us to our first afternoon tea in London. Delicious teas, tasty sandwiches, scones and sweets! Excellent service. Highly recommend.

Far too expensive for what you get. My daughter wasn’t a fan of tea and while, expected they tacked on a soda cost, which at 80 pounds a person it would have been a nice gesture.

What a beautifully curated experience! From the menu which included information about the importance of bees and how it relates to their teas, to the artistically created desserts. The servers explained each item, which enhanced the experience. The china was exquisite and the idea of hanging the plates on a fanciful birdcage was very fun!

Much of this experience was not as advertised. Look at the photos of the cakes on the website. This is not what is served. The sandwich for kids does not had cream cheese, as described in the menu. It’s butter and cucumber. The gluten free afternoon tea was so dry and bland. Service was insanely slow. It took 30 mins to get sandwiches and we hadn’t got our drinks yet. There are two types of tea and they weren’t standard or nice so I couldn’t just get a regular one. I emailed ahead to explain I had coeliacs but had to explain separately to 3 members of staff who all seemed confused and kept telling me the kitchen may have cross contamination. I had to have vegan cream because they told me the other one might not be safe. I never got the hot chocolate I ordered. It took forever to even pay the bill and I was charged the weekend price on a Monday.

We spend a wonderful afternoon with the kids in Royal Lancaster Hotel, discovering the tradition of Afternoon Tea. Whilst the girls are not into princesses, they did enjoy being treated like little princesses by all staff members :-). The sandwiches were delicious and the scones a real treat. We appreciated the selection of white and green teas, and were grateful to discover there was a caffeine free herbal tea mix for the kids as well. Many thanks to Jules, who was in charge of our table, but just as much to his sweet and professional colleagues! Just steps away from Hyde Park! Perfect to combine with an afternoon stroll, counting and naming squirrels that hop around.
