Ana our waitress was extremely kind and helpful with any requests and pleasant to talk to. The food was very nice, tea great... my sons fish and chips "great" he said.... All in all happy to recommend anyone to spend their time and money on visiting while in London ... or when living in London as a treat!

Very disappointing experience. While the arrival and greeting was very warm, the service during the afternoon tea service left much to desire. From the photocopied menus to the slow service, the experience was not five star, as expected. The food was served rapidly, however, the tea took a long time to be served. We overheard the waiter ask the busser for the tea, to which he responded “They will have to wait as I am going on break”. The tea, when it finally arrived was lukewarm. We were never explained how the menu worked, just an abrupt : have you chosen your tea … The humus and burger options were tasteless and dry but the sandwiches and cakes were good. The supposed to be iced mango tea was warm and over sweetened. We had to ask what it was and were told it was a palate cleanser. We desperately needed a sip of champagne to clear the overly sweet taste afterwards. The water we had ordered at the beginning had not yet arrived… Dirty tables remained uncleared throughout our stay. We had booked for 16:30, so it was clear towards the end that the tables needed to be set up for dinner. Tables around us were then cleared by hand and one waitress licked her fingers while doing so. Plates from our tea stand were also removed, even if we had not finished, which clearly indicated that we were expected to leave.

The decor is beautiful and food was decorated to match the season looking almost too good to eat. They also have a surprise that was so well done. Of course the view is spectacular. I highly recommend.

Gorgeous settings obviously we had 2nd row view of London, however for price food was extremely mediocre! Sandwiches were bland, all the cakes on the stand tasted the same except the scones…but £90 pp felt a bit steep for the quality of food we were presented.

The view is absolutely amazing. The staff is kind and considerate but we found the food not that great. Everything is served at the same time. The scons were lovely but the rest like the sandwiches not at the same level. Also live music playing so make sure you are not seated too close to the singer because it’s really loud.
