   The meal was very enjoyable and had lots of unique dishes coupled with very amazing techniques. I was a very big fan of the trout ravioli which was so unique and amazing. My only suggestion is not double desert but one more creative entree. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, ambiance was great and it was definitely overall a great experience. Oh the tip is included in the bill which was also kinda cool.

   Absolutely fantastic food and ambience! I recommend the duck and getting a bartender’s choice for the drinks. Sean was a lovely server and overall lovely experience! The chefs are so thoughtful and the food is fantastic

   Right from the helpful staff at the door who took our coats and guided us to our table till we bade goodbye after our meal, the entire dining experience at Aiana was outstanding. The ambience was classy with various seating options available, facing the glitzy bar or the lively open kitchen, with soft lighting making for an intimate experience. Our server Kate Curran went out of her way to ensure we had all we needed, explained every dish perfectly, provided wine pairing suggestions and also obliged with photos. The food itself was exemplary – top-notch quality ingredients and such beautiful presentation making each dish almost too pretty to eat! We tried two small plates, two mains and two desserts and every morsel was a gastronomic delight of textures and flavours intricately woven to ensure palate pleasing perfection. The complimentary items including the welcome grape and ginger shot, the amuse bouche of tomato soup with cheddar foam and the dark chocolates with cherry compote at the end of the meal were added touches of thoughtfulness that elevated the experience, as was the little goodie bag presented to us when leaving. Aiana doesn't accept tips, but their service is definitely worthy of it and I highly recommend the restaurant for an exceptional dining experience in downtown Ottawa.

   Aiana has truly outdone itself with its new menu—it’s absolutely jaw-dropping. The quality and execution of each dish are impeccable, but the aged dry duck is something truly special. It’s a must-try, showcasing incredible depth of flavor and expert craftsmanship. The ambiance remains as refined as ever, peaceful, elegant, and respectful. It’s the perfect setting for a high-quality dining experience. If you appreciate fine dining done right, Aiana is an absolute standout.

    One scallop? Who serves an appetizer with ONE scallop! Plate may look like a work of art, but seriously, I’m going there to eat, not admire a painting! The attitude of the server appeared to be that we should feel privileged to dine there and be served by him! Slow, sullen, empty plated! We left after the underwhelming appetizer and went to eat elsewhere!
