Food was decent, but pricy for what you got. Menu was short, but had some good options. Restaurant was very loud. Probably would go again, but only for special occasions given the price.

This place is beautiful and we had wonderful service. I really wanted to love my pasta, but it tasted like eating a lemon.

For the prices, I believe the portion sizes should be a little bigger than what they are. 17$ for three medium sized meatballs seems outlandish to me. When ordering the Cacio for 2, the pasta got cold within minutes of receiving it on the plate. Everything tasted lovely but I didn’t enjoy how cold the food got.

Wow!! This place was amazing! Literally everything was perfect for us. The ambiance! The treatment by the hostess and ALL staff esp Evan our server. The homemade pasta was delicious. (Don't sleep on the arancini or the pasta alla flora ). So happy to have chosen this place to celebrate my son's birthday. We will be back!

I had searched restaurants on Open Table based on select neighborhoods, hours of availability, and group- size. Based on results, I chose Al Pastor for a part of 8 for Friday, March 7 @ 8.0p. That evening, I received a call from the restaurant @ 6.08p wondering at what time we were planning on arriving for our reservation. I responded with "on time at 8.0p, as scheduled". She responded that our reservation was for 5.45p. I allowed that I was not my grandparents.... She asked me to hold while she worked on making arrangements. She returned, stating she had confirmed a table of 8 for 8.0p. We arrived and were advised to wait at the bar, as the table was not yet ready. Waiting at the bar, I gained the bartender's attention, who smiled, went about his business and finally a friend grabbed him a asked that he take my drink order. we were then seated upstairs, placed orders. I ordered a wedge salad and cacio e pepe. The pasta arrived tepid and gummy, I ate a third and gave up. I then ordered a cappucino, which arrived nearly cold, at which point I was thoroughly disappointed. I mentioned this to the server, the manager came over and "apologized" stating they were "very busy that evening. I reminded her that five restaurants had recently closed in the past two weeks alone and this was a $1,000 table of business. It doesn't matter to me how busy a restaurant is, make an effort, not an excuse. I've dined at Al Posto on three separate occasions and this was simply unacceptable. If this is the future of this establishment, it will not be the future of my dining there.

Loved our evening — we chose fairly traditional options and they were delicious. Our waitress was wonderful, you could tell she liked serving the customers and was very accommodating. We will definitely return!
