   The service was excellent, food was an 8-10 depending on orders. Plesant and quite venue. We are definitely going to enjoy this location again. Lunch menu looks great also.

   Fantastic local lunch or dinner spot. Remodeled, clean and overall great atmosphere. Food is delicious and service was prompt.

   The filet was AMAZING!!! This is my 4th time to this restaurant and I LOVE IT SO MUCH! The flight of chowders is where it’s out!! I am so happy to get to go one more time before I leave Alaska!!

   Crab legs and halibut was very bland..Wait staff was not familiar with items on the menu. Crab legs at 130.00 mp was not worth it.

   Our party had the bruschetta appetizer which was very tasty and well plated, as were all the dishes. We also had the seafood chowder (excellent), Caesar salad (ok but nothing to write home about), salmon bowl was proclaimed very good, halibut and chips were awesome with huge portion. We had the toffee cake and lemon cake for dessert and the melted in your mouth! The place is spendy, but it was a special occasion for us. Considering this place used to be a Village Inn, the decor is nice and it is very clean. The only minuses are that they only have beer and wine and the serving staff, while kind, were too present. There was way too much coming and going with water, they would fill one persons glass and no one else’s and keep coming back. They should just leave a pitcher on the table. They also interrupted our conversation many times to ask if the could clear dishes away that were not empty. The owner/manager (who was our server) while extremely gracious was also way too present and interrupted our conversation on several occasions. I tried ignoring him because I was trying to finish our conversation, but he should stood there waiting. So, yes, I’d dine there again, it was my second time, but hope they continue to improve their hosting skills and get a full liquor license.

   Our party of 4 enjoyed a variety of menu options from a burger to 3 different chowders and the cheesecake. The salad was crisp and delicious, the chowders were delicious, though not very warm. The house made cheesecake was not too sweet +++,the topping was crunchy and delicious! We can’t wait to return for another meal!! Our party was from Seattle, Homer and Anchorage, we’ll be back!

   Food is always spot on ! Had the lobster roll today for lunch! 👌🏽 our server was kind helpful and attentive .

    So nice to find this new restaurant in Anchorage. It’s pretty, the food is great, it’s quiet, so a great place to catch up and converse with friends. It has a small, cozy wine bar. The chowder is delicious. Will definitely rise to the top of my list as there are so few places to have lunch anymore.
