In its bright and colorful restaurant, Alcalde serves modern Mexican cuisine with upscale flair in its friendly, Guadalajara-area eatery. The tostada de atún tuna piled on a crisp tostada with guacamole and radish and the tartar of smoked tomato juice, scalded egg yolk and pickled vegetables make unique and tasty starters. Some of Alcalde's specialty entries include the smoked octopus with vegetable risotto, the duck in adobo sauce with shrimp, chilies and eucalyptus and the juicy steak in pan jus.

Alcalde's coconut parfait with raspberry ice cream, elderberry juice and cilantro makes a perfect end to a delectable meal.

What a fantastic experience ! Thanks to Sam and the rest of this amazing team for a Michelin star quality meal. Only 1 thing there should be a description card explaining each course.

The 10 Course fixed menu was incredible! Unique ingredients, flavors, and presentation. Our server was attentive and very sociable. All the staff were smiling and helpful😁. Highly recommend if you're in Guadalajara - takes about 2 1/2 hours🤩

Thank you Alcalde for the most incredible dining experience myself and my wife have ever had. The food and presentation were the most beautiful and absolutely delicious. I can't remember the last time I've actually scraped my plate clean! With the incredible service and quality of experience, you have for sure guaranteed a second visit from us, and next time the tasting menu for sure! Thank you to the team for making our anniversary that much more special!

De las mejores experiencias en guadalajara para comer. Cambian algunos platillos de vez en cuando pero siempre te llevas sorpresas muy gratificantes. Los platillos están preparados con excelente técnica culinaria al igual que la atención de todo el staff. Un lugar al que siempre te quedan ganas de regresar!
