Hostess wouldn’t seat us in the dining room and made us sit at a cocktail table in the bar. No explanation and really uncomfortable. Bagel was cold and dry and goat cheese? Yuck. Had to continually ask for coffee.

We made reservations for 5:30 PM and placed our order for our food at 6PM after receiving our drinks. We then waited 50 minutes to be served our meal order that was placed at the same time as our drinks. Waiting for an hour to be served with a late delivery of our appetizer (just one) was FAR too long. Once our 3 different pasta dishes were brought to us they were a huge disappointment. Taste was bland and without accent of any kind. All four of us had similar comments. Poor results for over $200 in cost!!!

Service was an issue. Food was mediocre. I had a reservation for the dining room but took a table in the bar since I was alone. My $32 salad was mediocre at best. While I was dining, they cleared out the bar area ahead of happy hour (literally told patrons they couldn’t sit there until after 3pm). Surprisingly, they didn’t rush me off. That said, I was the only guest in the entire lounge and completely ignored. They opened the bar for happy hour and waited on the new patrons while I was again entirely ignored. After flagging down a server and finally ordering a glass of wine, I asked for the check. Instead of the happy hour pricing for the wine, I was charged $17 for the glass. There are much better establishments to spend your hard earned $$$$.

Service was super slow. They could not serve four of us dinner in an hour and 45 minutes. We waited 25 minutes for our dessert to come before we had to give up and go to the theater. Restaurant was 1/2 empty. It was my son’s birthday, which they acknowledged as we arrived. Manager was clueless of poor experience as she mindlessly filled water glasses for random tables. Won’t ever go back. Food mediocre at best.

Limited menu. Our appetizer was forgotten but then they comped dessert. If the 4 dinner orders 2 of 4 came out incorrect (putting on cheese when we asked for none, adding mayo when we requested it be left off). Overall a bit meh.

Host was disorganized and a bit snarky. We had reservations for a week and he seated us at a table that was not our preference even though the restaurant was completely empty! He said all the others were reserved, but we had reservations too! Food was ok for a hotel restaurant and bar. Not impressed.

It was a nice dinner time overall (because of the company!) with some glitches. While the place has a great contemporary ambiance, excellent wine, and super prompt helpful and friendly service, the food was unremarkable. The cabbage side dish had a thick strong sauce that seemed to taste like ground sausage. The scallops were very few and so small that got lost in the lentils melange. Our food tasted like it was rushed, not enough care in its making or presentation.

For an upscale restaurant, the food was basic and nothing wow worthy. Additionally, even though the place wasn’t busy, we constantly had to grab someone’s attention for drink refills. I expected more for the price.

It was the Executive Chefs day off. The food was mediocre at best and the service very ordinary. The salmon dip was already plated and just taken out of the fridge. I know this because there was condensation on the bowl and the dip had started to separate. The Turkey dinner arrived before we had finished the starter. The turkey was very dry and salty and the chestnut stuffing had never seen a chestnut. It was a bread stuffing. The green bean casserole was Luke warm. The potatoes, gravy and cranberry sauce were good. We didn’t stay for dessert. Don’t waste your money here. Go somewhere that will appreciate the $100 a head that you’re spending.

It’s a beautiful location, and there was excellent service. The food was sub par compared to other similarly priced options. It is quite noisy so conversation can be difficult if you’re not ready to talk loudly.
