   Awesome lunch at the beautiful bar today! Excellent grilled chicken Caesar and the burgers and fries were delicious as usual! Paired with a French burgundy! Delightful!

   Allister is an excellent restaurant. It's a welcome addition to the Mercer Island dining scene. Today was my 3rd visit. I put a note that it was my mother's birthday and the staff - at least 4 people made an effort to wish my 87 year old mom a happy birthday and she was delighted. Our meal was excellent! PS - try the steak frites for lunch!

   Fantastic evening. Our first time in with the new menu. My personal fav was the butternut squash gnocchi. Our server Madison was spot on with her service. We will be back soon!

   We had a great time. Dinner was delicious and our server was excellent! I tried the venison and enjoyed it thoroughly.

   I was pleased with my soup/sandwich/salad lunch today. All three were delicious. I am still trying to adjust to restaurant prices post covid and post inflation. In the context of these changes, the price seemed reasonable. Service was GREAT. I LOVE that they offer seltzer water as an option to still water. I confess that I cannot hear well any restaurant, so I struggled to hear there as well. I would love to find a restaurant that understood the pleasure of quiet dining and would install fabric baffles from the ceiling or carpet to mitigate all the deafening impact of hard surfaces. If I do go out again though, I would consider coming back here.

   came to claim a reservation. we were shown to a table by the open door; we rejected it snd pointed at a vacant table farther away. host told us it was reserved. we pointed out we had a reservation. we were forced to stand at the open door until she had sat other patrons and conferred with the manager; she then gave us the table. the main courses arrived as we were eating our appetizers and the busser did not help rearranging the table. after all that, the food was meh and the price was too high for that quality.

I realize that it can be frustrating to make a reservation and not be satisfied with the table assigned but my team did their best to accommodate you and your guest. You indicated your desire to sit at a larger table on the corner, which was reserved for a party of 3 who had recently lost their Father and requested that specific corner table for privacy. The Hostess worked with the manager to contact that party and have them arrive after your meal. We apologize for having you wait while that took place but we did our best to provide the best service to you and our other guests on a very busy Saturday night.    The BLT sandwich with salad greens and French onion soup was perfect on a wintry day. We were celebrating a big birthday and didn’t feel rushed by our lovely server whose name begins with G..thank you!

   Our dinner experience was awful. How can you go wrong with Burgers ? Yet , it did . Expensive to boot ! Very disappointing !

I know that the Carbonara wasn't to your liking since you requested it be made without pancetta and the dish doesn't come together without that key ingredient. I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy the burgers either but hopefully the rest of your meal was enjoyable and the burgers tasted better the next day as you took them home.     Reservations were for brunch. Mimosas were small but good. Server was excellent. Favorite place on Mercer Island to take friends and family!
