   Made a reservation for 130 pm on a Sunday, so not crowded. We were promptly seated, and then….nothing. No water, no server. After 10 minutes flagged down hostess and asked where our server was. After 15 minutes, we left. Again no waters, no waiter, no service. Bizarre for a NOLA restaurant. Hostess unapologetic. Will not be back.

   We love Alma in Bywater and were thrilled that one opened up closer to us. We have been there twice, and both times, the food, drinks, and service were outstanding. We need to spread the word. Both times, it was not packed, and it should have been. This is an excellent spot in Mid City that folks should love and support!!!

   Very unfortunate that the waiter's service ruined the whole brunch experience at Alma. We wish this restaurant screened better before they hired any staff. The waiter's attitude couldn't be worse than horrible. In the middle of our meal, we just walked out without even finishing our brunch. I hope this review will be taken into consideration before they put very unprofessional people working and representing your restaurant.

   We always enjoy Alma in the Baywater and we’re thrilled to see a new location opening up on Carrollton. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious and we can’t wait to come back!

   Everything was great, food was great and so was the service. Only disappointment was no peanut butter horchata and no tamarindo .

   The huevos rancheros with an Honduran bent was wonderfully flavorful, delicious- I'll be back to try the othe delectable on their menu - Gracias!

    I was excited to visit the restaurant; but I was a little bit disappointed with the service. Even thought the restaurant was not crowded when we arrived, we had to wait and asked for a waiter to wait on us. The plantains were super delicious as well as the pupusas, and priced reasonably. I ordered the Tuna dish and one of the most expensive on the menu ( $29.00) and I was disappointed when it was served on a round tortilla and good flavor, but too “ citric”. I will go back to the restaurant, but will be very careful on what to order.
