We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great burger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s kind of a bistro, kind of a diner, internationally inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto.

Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees.

    We came to celebrate a birthday and had an amazing time! Our waitress was super nice and patient; she was knowledgeable about the menu and made awesome suggestions. The vibe in the evenings is cozy yet lively so it’s easy to get comfortable. Highly recommended. Cheers

    Aloette made for the perfect date night! The service was exceptional—attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding, from the melt-in-your-mouth lamb skewer to the delicious Aloette burger with Beaufort cheese. The sides—we grabbed the tots and crispy butternut squash—were incredible. The ambiance, paired with great music, set a relaxed yet lively mood. We finished with the perfect slice of carrot cake. Everything was top-notch, and we can't wait to come back!

    Great food. 2/5 which we had were A+ the other 3 were A to A-. Great ambulance. Very cosy and intimate with minimalist, modern design. Service was great too. Would go back.
