   Great ambiance and food. I would skip the bread fondue, it was nothing special. The steamed salmon with spinach and pasta was delicious. We had poor service, which sort of ruined the meal for us.

   Great dining experience. Our waitress was very pleasant. We ordered the smoked salmon with potato cakes, the schnitzel, Rosie lachs ( steamed salmon) and the grilled chicken with a curry sauce. Each meal was unique and delicious. The cheese fondue was also an excellent appetizer.

   Great interior and good quality of service, menu, friendly with kids. Used to go Pepe all the time but better European food

   Such a beautiful place to visit and the food was excellent! We had the pretzel to start with all the dippers and I had the margarita that was delicious. My three kids all had the bolognese which was delicious and I had the salmon. Our waitress was amazing and the ambience was delightful. The small details I. The drinks and plates made it feel very special.

   We were very much looking forward to Alpen Rose again this year. The Kartoffel suppe used to be great but is no longer in the menu. The bergsteigersuppe was meh(way too much spaetzle). The erbsensuppe was just okay. Topping it with a splash of sherry and sour cream would have helped. Tried to order beet salad on two separate visits but it was not available. The waiter implied that it is never available. If we visit in the future, it will be for schnitzel, pretzels and fondue.

    We love eating at Alpenrose Vail. The food is delicious but the best part of our visit is always the service. The service is always just right. Attentive but not too much. Two of us had the curry soup and loved it.
