A dimly lit mysterious cocktail lounge tucked behind the curtain of the vinyl bar, Still O.G., boasting a diverse array of delicious and methodically prepared small plates in addition to wildly imaginative and carefully crafted cocktails.

Small plate offerings include dishes such as steak tartare with puffed rice served in a perilla leaf, Spanish octopus al pastor that is confit then fried and served alongside caramelized pineapple puree and pineapple salsa, and the namesake Alter Ego egg.

The diverse cocktail menu features 16 signature cocktails such as the Kyushu Coffee, a blend of Shochu, black coffee and kuromitsu topped with a black sesame foam or the Buster and Babs; a Rum and Brandy based milk punch inspired by the flavors of carrot cake served in a decanter with glassware for 2.

A seated experience with tableside service in an intimate space, reservations and walk-ins both accepted, although reservations are highly recommended.

Over-hyped and underwhelming for us. Didn’t like the limited amount of guests per party (capped at 6), and not even allow wiggle room for 1 more (it is not like we will take over another table). Foods option are limited and meh quality. Bread was dry and hard. Octopus was decent but nothing out of this world. Drinks are creative and nicely presented BUT they are way too sweet. I don’t think it is worth returning. You get more value going elsewhere and have more fun with better vibe. This place might be good for dates since it is dark and not too loud (can talk)

Came here for my birthday with my best friend and the place really was a vibe. I love the esthetic of the place with dimmed lights. The food was delicious to snack on. You have to try the Annabelle Lee cocktail. The presentation was spot on and the drink itself *chef’s kiss*. I will definitely be coming back.

The bartenders and hostess were very accommodating and nice. They waited for me to show up for the reservation and remembered me from a couple days before. Great music too!

I was really looking forward to having a high end place in San Jose but sadly I was disappointed. The room could have been darker to give more to ambiance. Service needed some help, we had to flag people down serval times to order more drinks and food. Food was fantastically presented but was solidly good. Lots of potential but not hitting the marks currently.

a beautifully sectioned off area with a chill ambiance of music. i also loved the food, which was absolutely amazing. Had the octopus, which had a vibrant taste and char, and the scallops, which also was paired well with the squash.
