   was an amazing dinner , would be 5 stars but the restaurant was out of quite a few things. I would still definitely recommend going here if you’re visiting the island. ocean side dining was beautiful and serene. Just need to get an early reservation to make sure all menu items are left !

   Fantastic menu, well thought out, highlighting the best of the island. Having said that, the staff is not ready for prime time. One appetizer came to the table as we were finishing up and it was stone cold. It had obviously been sitting in the window for the better part of 45 minutes, the floor staff was totally in the weeds but the kitchen staff should have picked up on this. An order for a dry martini from the bar came to the table with something resembling dishwater in a glass. The kitchen needs to demand better from the front of the house. Ours was a table of six, maybe this place is better with two tops? Doubt I will take the chance when date night comes.

   We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner last night. This was our second time at AMA and it was a much better experience. Our waiter (RJ?) was excellent! He checked on us multiple times, answered questions, anticipated our needs, timed our meal perfectly and was very pleasant. The ambiance can’t be beat, though the crashing waves were quite loud last night. Our dinners were great; Caesar salads and mussels, filet, salmon, and rack of lamb, and chocolate mousse. Though expensive we will definitely return and hopefully we’ll have the same waiter. He’s a treasure.

   Simply amazing! We stayed at the hotel attached and couldn’t wait to try this place but had a wait a few days for an opening, well worth the wait! We shared the shrimp and grit soufflé, my husband had the special, seared scallops that were divine and I had the salmon with coconut curry rice, it was incredible, not a bite was left! We ended the night with the cheesecake, which I almost regretted only getting one it was that good. We were so happy with our experience we made reservations for brunch the following Sunday.

   Had the salmon it was perfectly prepared, a delicious dish. Fantastic French 75 cocktail. Lower bar seating bartender service was top notch, personable & professional. This was a return visit and I’m already booked for another before I leave the island. Enjoy!

    Beautiful setting at the water's edge. Seeing and hearing the waves crash is so relaxing while having a meal. Hot crab dip was the perfect starter -- bread was delicious. Hubby had a steak and lobster, and I had the seared scallops special served over saffron risotto. Peanut butter chocolate cake was just the right touch to a terrific meal. Excellent wait staff. Highly recommend!
