   We had Nikolai (sp?) as our server and he was phenomenal. I had been to the location in Arlington many times and absolutely loved it. It’s great to know I can have the same quality experience here in Chicago.

   The food was excellent, service was very good, and the restaurant itself is located in such a great space. I have multiple food allergies, and the staff went to great lengths to ensure I avoided contact with my allergens. The allergen menu is a perfect idea, and so many more restaurants need to adopt this practice! Between myself and fiancé, we tried 9 dishes plus dessert: a selection of dips, croquettes, 2 vegetables, 4 meats (the lamb medallions were our favorite thing on the menu!), cheese pie, and for dessert, the sorbet and donuts. We probably could’ve had 6-8 dishes and still left full, but we were hungry and eager to try many things on the menu! We would definitely visit again!

   Stefan was our waiter and he was patient and outstanding. This was a fun experience to be able to order various unlimited small dishes. We were told to save room for dessert but that did not happen! Food was interesting and delicious. Be open to take recommendations from the waiter. I would never have tried the veal soup and it was delicious and unlike anything I had had before. We already made reservations to come back with friends.

   This place is great—tons of options for both vegetarians and meat eaters. The staff is super friendly, the decor is gorgeous, and the prices are really reasonable. Definitely a great spot to check out!

    The food was amazing! It was great to taste food I have grown up eating in a novel way. The food is elevated while still giving the ode and respect to the original recipes. I especially enjoyed combination of Balkan food with tapas portions. Fantastic food and even better service. Everyone was beyond nice and friendly.
