   We ordered a Filet Mignon, and given the restaurant level, I was not satisfied. We ordered medium, and some portions of the steak were almost well done.

   The food was terrific it made up for my date not showing up. Excellent service great environment as always. Best choice for fine dining in McAllen.

   My experience at Ambra was absolutely amazing! From the moment you enter the restaurant, you’re greeted warmly and professionally by Jackie. When it comes to service, Italia was phenomenal—she’s incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and provided outstanding recommendations. I loved the new hamachi appetizer with habanero yuzu sauce—it’s to die for! My filet was cooked to perfection (medium-rare, just as I asked), and the cheesecake dessert was the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. I highly recommend requesting Italia as your server—she truly made the experience exceptional. I can’t wait to return!

   Had a wonderful time at Ambra, the food was excellent and the service was amazing! Our server Jordan recommended the chicken and sea bass and they were amazing!! Had an amazing experience and will be back soon!!

    We had an amazing time at ambra and wonderful service!! Food was great and definitely recommend the mezcal marakuya for a cocktail. Our server was very polite and had great recommendations, probably the service I have had at any restaurant!! Hope to be back soon!!
