   Unnecessarily loud, although that’s the reality of Sky Deck’s restaurant area which is not within Ambrogio15’s control. The loud music is best suited for a dance floor venue. But, alas, there’s no dance floor. Glass Box notably installed glass walls which effectively dampens the volume, something which Ambrosio15 should explore. Despite the volume of the music, we have previously eaten at Ambrosio15 more than five times, beginning when it first opened, because the food, service and prices were very good. That has changed. The ambience: Although I made our reservation days earlier and the host recognized my wife and I from previous occasions dining there, he seated us in the worst booth- directly under two lights akin to those in department stores intended to ensure shoppers see the merchandise. We were bathed in light. The food: We first ordered a caprese salad which was flavorful and had a healthy sized buffalo mozzarella but only six thin slices of tomato and maybe six leaves of arugula in olive oil and seasoning. We then had the pasta puttanesca which was so so. Both dishes were overpriced for what they served. The service: I had to flag down another server to get Parmesan cheese because our server didn’t think to ask and was too impressed in conversation with his colleagues to notice my outreached arm waving to attract his attention. As he cleared our plates, with the flatware, we ordered a final dish of four meatballs baked in tomato sauce. When our server delivered the meatballs, he neglected to bring flatware which we realized moments after he departed. Again unable to attract his attention, I got another server to bring us flatware. The meatballs were minimally seasoned and the sauce was basic and unimaginative. I believe that sufficiently explains my rating and why it is unlikely that we will return.

   Had a great experience with dinner and server. Split the beet salad and a veggie pizza with friend. Both delicious. The servers were wonderful too. Look forward to going back.

   Pizza was wonderful especially with the shaved black Truffles! Wine list was extraordinary. My pasta with seafood was poor.

   Great food, great atmosphere, good service. I wish the waiter didn’t include tip for table of 6. That was a bit odd. Would come back though.

   Overall this was an excellent experience. The food was excellent. My family and I shared the Margarita pizza and sea bass. My son had a pasta dish that they made for him that was off menu. That was a nice touch. He had a pasta dish with sausage and a white sauce. He loved it. My wife and I shared the seabass and Pizza. The seabass was excellent, It was of a quality that surpassed their venue in my opinion. I loved the pizza. My wife thought the food was too acidic with too much tomato sauce. Now the food did have a lot of tomato sauce so keep that in mind for folks with sensitive stomachs. The Seabass did had a lot of tomato pesto sauce, however, I enjoyed it a lot. They also had a nice selection of Italian wine which I had two. They were excellent and matched the theme of the restaurant. For desert we had a chocolate gelato with a lava center. very delicious. Service was good and the main servers were Italian(I think) which added to the ambience. However, we asked for water to start and we were given a bottle to pour ourselves. For a casual/casual/upsacle they should pour it for you. Value was good but still a $188 bill with tip included. There are a few other local casual/upscale that have a slightly better value (Nicks Del Mar $174 w/tip 3 mains) but having pizza is a great change of pace. Overall Good experience. Ambrogio15 will be earning my future restaurant dollars.

   Ambrogio15 has a lovely staff and excellent menu. I strongly recommend the wine pairing dinners which are a little more than the price of a meal but totally worth it if you love Italian wine and food (which imho) pairs like nothing else in the world.

    first time diners. we were very pleased with the food, and service. we enjoyed the Squash Blossum dish and our pizza was excellent ! our server was Felipe.
