   The apps were great but portions are small. Perfect for two people to share, but if you are a bigger group, you may want to double up. The Korean BBQ beef skewers were tender and flavorful. The fish croquettes were great on their own, but they came with a sauce that truly elevated the experience. The pork belly was soft but with just the right amount of crunchy. The whole fried snapper special was excellent with a beautiful presentation. The oxtail was tender and flavorful served on a bed of tamal en casuela. I prefer a firm tamal but the taste was good. The loser was the steak frites. The steak was tough. The express crème brûlée was the brightest star of the night. The coconut cheesecake was a winner with my family. The best cocktail was the Kentucky Mule. Overall, a great meal and a great experience.

   We had a good time at Amelias 1931 with our family. We went there to celebrate my husband’s birthday and although I put it in the Open Table reservation and told the hostess and waitress several times they did not make him feel special. The cocktails were very well made. We had the paella. It tasted ok and was lacking in seafood. The croquetas and dumplings were very good. The Flamenco music and singer were very good.

   This restaurant is a charming neighborhood spot with well-prepared food that mostly meets expectations, though the prices are a bit high for what’s offered. However, our experience was soured by a frustrating billing issue. With a group of 14, they refused to let us split the bill based on individual orders, insisting on an even split instead. This was unreasonable, especially given the disparities in what people ordered. While the food was good, this issue means we won’t be returning. It’s a shame, as it could’ve been a great experience.

   I love this place , live music awesome service , delicious food and cocktails . Unique restaurant if you are tired of the same boring places. Jasmine the bartender will make you go back to try the rest of the drinks.

   Great experience! Love the ambience, decor and service! I recommend the espresso martini, Isla Canaria croquettas, and biscuits with butter. I need to try more of their specialty drinks and food when I visit again!

    Great spot. Loud music which is fun. Food and drinks are a 7 out of 10. Too pricey for what it is.
