   Arrived 10 minutes late and told they couldn’t hold reservation, food and service ok, nothing special. With so many options for good Mexican food in Tucson the small menu options doesn’t compete with other local favorites.

   We are huge fans but last night they were understaffed so poorly. We made reservations for 6, got seated by 630 outside. Our server was one of two serving the whole restaurant and busing all his tables. With the new car wash next door, it has ruined the feel eating outside. Every car that comes through activates the dryer blowers. We all know how loud these are inside our cars, even worse outside. I feel sorry for Amelia’s and especially the neighbors behind the car wash. You need to find a new larger location close by craycroft and swan! Plenty of space close by!

   Food was good. However I was surprised that they didn’t have any spicy options. The habanero chicken was not that spicy but was tasty

   The street tacos were fun to try. Pastor was really good. Enjoyed the birria. Friendly staff. If I lived in Tucson, I’d be a regular customer.

    We were sat at a cocktail table, right under the AC vent. Right next to a window with the people next to us, practically on top of us. There’s no way that dinner plates would have fit on the cocktail table. We felt like sardines in a can, in the small area where they sat us at. We asked to be moved and they refused. What a shame as the smells coming from the kitchen were excellent. The hostess had an attitude!
