Amelia’s is a happy and happening place with great unadorned Mexican food.

Outstanding authentic food from a very limited menu in a small space Service was excellent. Margaritas even better. Shrimp tacos were outstanding. Their birria signature offerings are yummy. Their chile relleno was very flavorful and not too spicy for you snow birds. Very casual dining. We can’t wait to return for the extensive Mexican breakfast

The food is excellent and the service is top notch. I’ve tried several dishes over time and each time I’m pleasantly surprised and impressed. Can’t recommend it enough.

This is a great little spot for Mexican food! The restaurant is small. When we arrived for our reservations there were no tables so we sat at the bar. Our server was very friendly and the owner helped us order all the good stuff! We ordered a sampling so we could try it all! We got tacos, mini chimichanga , and chili relleno. The winner of all was the chili relleno. It was lightly breaded and yummy. We will be back when it gets warmer so we can sit outside on their patio!

It was our first time trying it but after the positive reviews, it sounded like a great place. My spouse fell in love with street tacos in Mexico City when our son was born and had been craving them but never happy with what was on offer. Amelia's was exactly what we wanted and the food was really great. The Quesabirria was particularly good and the mini-chimis (Birria) were full of meat but just a trifle cool by the time the rest of the food was brought out, but still very tasty. I always like to have a chile relleno and I enjoyed them as well. All in all we had one of the best meals we'd eaten out in a long time. Our waiter was incredibly friendly, attentive and despite the busy crowd, made sure we were well taken care of. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone who likes Mexican.

My wife and I had made reservations for 630. Upon arrival to the restaurant learned that the restaurant had overbooked and that 30 other people with reservations were also waiting, with a wait time to be seated of over an hour. We did not wait as clearly they don’t understand how to operate a restaurant.

This was our second times in the row that we had made reservations, and they had no table for us when we arrived. We made reservations for dinner days ahead. When we arrived, they told us that there's no table available. The hostess told us that they might possibly have a table for us if we would be willing to wait for about 45 minutes. She then pointed at the people who were standing outside like sardines and told us that all of those people (over 30 of them) were also having reservations as well and waiting for tables as well. We were not the only one both time that were so frustrated and left both times. Amelia's Kitchen, why the heck on earth would you take reservations when not having the tables available? This was out second times that we made reservations and had to go elsewhere for dinner. Forget it! We'll never come back and strongly encourage everyone to stay away for high chances that you and your family/guests will not have a table at all despite of having reservations. You don't want to scramble at the last minutes like we did trying to find another place to eat for your family and guests. Amelias Kitchen is absolutely the worst! They are unprofessional and inexperienced like someone just opened a restaurant a few days ago.

My review on the food is N/A because we had a 6:15 reservation through Open Table, arrived at 6:05 and waited outside for more than 30 minutes. We ended up leaving because it looked like it was going to take at least another 30-60 minutes before we could get a table. The venue is extremely small with approximately 6 tables available inside. The parking lot is horrible, one entrance, very small, vehicle reverse skills a must. The restaurant was overbooked, I’m guessing through Open Table. I’m not sure if management forgot to set the occupancy threshold or just didn’t want to turn people away. There were probably 5 other groups all with a 6:30 reservation with no open table to give. I’m guessing the food is exceptional, but we never made it to that point. Amelia’s is poorly managed. I would not recommend unless you go at an off peak dining hour. Small venue, horrible parking.
