   This restaurant makes my mouth water. The food is creative and fresh, so well prepared and presented. An amazing wine selection, although I’m not a connoisseur by any means. It’s also small, relaxed and inviting. The hosts/servers set the tone for that. Amélie is charming, the food is always a joy, fantastic, the diners are always smiling and enjoying it all. As locals, we will be going regularly, thank you!

   A small cafe with a sidewalk eating space outdoors and a few tables inside. I had an ahi tuna salad Nicoise , which was tasty, though drowned in dressing. My companion had a burger with fries, which was much more appealing. The burger was cooked to a perfect medium, as requested. The service was spotty, although I saw only one person on duty in addition to the cook behind the counter. We had to ask for iced tea several times and didn’t get more than one glass of water. But for a small spot, it had a charm that would make me want to return, perhaps for a coffee and pastry.

   Our casual birthday party celebration was lots of fun at Amelie. The staff was nice and the food was excellent. We will definetly go back.

   As always, the food was terrific! I was skeptical of the combination of ingredients for their Easter Sunday Salmon Bowl option, but was so blown away by the depth of flavor. YUM!

   We love Amélie. The food and wine list are truely French, the service is friendly, and the ambiance is small, tight and busy like a true French restaurant, though during the week it is not crowded. We go here often.

    Our waiter, Pierre (sp?) made excellent suggestions and recommendations, including the Chocolate Mousse for dessert.
