   We didn’t eat so ignore the food score. Great atmosphere, lovely cocktails and the excellent pianist/singer made it a very enjoyable experience.

   The American bar is like taking a step back in time. The cocktails and champagne are delicious! The service was outstanding, our host Gergana was fantastic ! Gergana recommended the best drinks, and gave great commentary about the ingredients and process. Very stylish approach to service. We’ll be back for sure !

   During our anniversary weekend at The Savoy, we found ourselves returning to the American Bar not once, not twice—but three times. It became a firm favourite, and it’s easy to see why. The bar is steeped in history and charm, with a timeless elegance that somehow feels both grand and intimate at the same time. Each visit was a unique experience, but one moment really stood out—we had a cocktail inspired by Tony, the head doorman, who’s been with The Savoy since 1986. That drink felt like a tribute to the heart and heritage of the hotel, and just one example of the storytelling that makes the American Bar’s cocktail menu so special. The service was outstanding every time. The team are knowledgeable, passionate, and make you feel completely at ease—whether you’re exploring something new or asking for a classic. The meats and cheeses we ordered were just as impressive as the drinks—beautifully presented, perfectly paired, and ideal for a relaxed evening. The American Bar captures everything you’d want from a world-class cocktail experience: history, craft, style, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be returning—it’s one of those places that stays with you long after you’ve left.
