   Fantastic food, wonderful service and very friendly staff. If there was a small criticism it was the cost of a large glass of wine at 12.50. Think it’s quite expensive! But the overall experience was brilliant.

   Our dining experience was marred by the very raucous, very rowdy table behind us. When we asked to be moved to another table, we were told there was nothing else available, but that some other diners had already been moved. We mentioned the noise a couple of times, and the waiter explained that they would be leaving soon, but they were still there when we eventually left. We enjoyed our food and felt that a lot of effort had been put in, but in some cases the kitchen seemed to be trying too hard. At times it wasn’t subtle, with some very rich and strong flavours overpowering more delicate ones. The service was (apart from the rowdy table issue) attentive and efficient, friendly without being chummy.

   Ami is a lovely place to spend with friends in a great atmosphere and fantastic food. The service was friendly and fast. There is a good range of alcohol and food. We can highly recommend a visit to this little Gem of a restaurant
