   They were very accommodating and changed the type of pasta from Pappardelle to Angel Hair and their Bolognese is the best that I have had since moving here 10 years ago. My husband had the lamb shank and he said it was delicious. The entertainment was super enjoyable. It was our 1st time going there. The individual who was playing the piano and singing had invited us. The ambiance was perfect and the noise level was minimal - it was great to be entertained and yet be able to carry on a conversation with friends. We will most definitely be back.

   The presentation of the entrees and salad was excellent. The food was delicious and timely. The service started out great but as the place filled up became very poor. Empty plates sat on our table for 20 minutes and we were not approached for that time by a server in reference to dessert or coffee.

   Would recommend. Family-owned, great service. Food was good. Veal parm was tasty, however, would have liked more tender. Veal marsala was also tasty, however, not as tender as I prefer. Would go back. Good value! Deserts very good. Service excellent!

   Going to Amore is a little bit like going to Cheers, the TV show. I’m always greeted with a warm welcome and lots of smiles. The atmosphere is welcoming, the food is delicious and the entertainment is outstanding. Whenever I have company visiting, I always make sure we go to Amore.

   A bit disappointed…we expected a better tasting meal, for it actually was very bland (we tried both, my wife ordered the Italian and I tried the Portuguese) and they didn’t really taste like anything out of the ordinary…added salt (trying to make it better) but it just got salty…even the broth in the Portuguese seafood Cataplana (priced at $42) was surprisingly bland and the tiramisu was also very weak, let’s say everything was “different”. Overall not really an OK experience, which for the price, we certainly expected a better tasting meal. Don’t think we’ll be back.

   Disappointing second visit to Amore. Salmon piccata was undercooked, the rolls were hard, and the pasteis de natas were overcooked to the point of mushiness.

   We were there New Year’s Eve. First time at this location. We had been at their two prior locations. The server was great-friendly and helpful-and the singer was very entertaining. The food was very good and priced reasonably for the portion sizes. We’ll be back.
