   The food and service was pleasant in general although place settings and presentation was less than expected. There was also a table of patrons where language was very choice and loud which was disappointing.

   Fantastic experience. Wonderful food. Friendly and welcoming service. The curried cauliflower soup was amazing. The beef with trimmings was delicious. We really enjoyed our meal at Amuse by Kevin Dalgleish.

   Great food, well thought out menu, great wine pairing with the tasting menu Word out to a great front of house team. Welcoming, angss as going and fun

   The food is excellently cooked, ambience is lovely. Not a lot on your plate and left still hungry after 3 courses.

   We were gifted vouchers to visit from our sons for Christmas. After reading some reviews we were really excited about our visit. Unfortunately on this occasion it did not live up to our expectations. The food was “nice” but not outstanding and it didn’t blow us away at all. If I’m honest it was not worth the price we paid. We had to ask three times for our bread which had been ordered and on two occasions for our table water. Hence the 3 stars given for service, Just didn’t meet the standard we expected or the reputation that this restaurant has established. Shame but I doubt we would go back.

   Booked table for 20:45. Got given a nice table as requested. Waiter was exuberant and very keen. As it was a special occasion being celebrated we planned to go with the tasting menu. The waiter also upsold the tasting menu to us saying it was defintniely the right choice. After accepting our order the waiter returned to say that Kevin Dalgleish was not willing to cook the tasting menu after 20:30. This was a huge surprise and big let down especially after this was the primary reason we booked, the waiter upselling the experience to us and nothing saying anywhere there was a time limit on when to order. What made it more frustrating is the restaurant didn't appear that busy with it being early in the year and by 22:30 there were only 2 tables left (us included) finishing drinks. Very disappointed and just screamed of the owner and staff wanted to get home and close up early. The food chosen off the main menu was very good however left with a bitter taste in mouth after being upsold an experience and being informed the chef would not cook it because it's after 20:30 which is being reflected in my rating,

   First time visit to Amuse and we weren't disappointed. Excellent dishes full of flavour and well presented. Service was spot on too, well looked after by our hostess... A bit noisy up at the back but it was busy and didn't detract from the experience...

    This is a fantastic restaurant. The food and service were excellent and there was a lovely ambience. I will definitely dine at Amuse again.
