   Was our first visit to anchor and will definitely be back. Food and drink all very good. Would recommend the frozen margaritas. Service was quick and friendly. Be prepared it is loud in the dining room but it’s a great experience and a very cool atmosphere.

   The food is consistenly excellent - have dined many times since they opened and love it - but the noise level can be really challenging - if you complain, they will usually turn the volume of the music down. And it's often the music they play that makes it so loud because you have to yell to be heard over the music and with everyone yelling - it's just too much. Maybe I just need to take out!!

   Had this place on my list for several months. It wasn’t as loud as other reviews mentioned, most likely due to time of evening. The edamame, although good was a little too salty for my taste -we just prefer spicy over salty. The riceless Lupton roll was very good-surprising texture but still good. The sunset roll had a really good lemon ginger vinaigrette—so good-could’ve eaten that by the spoonful. Victor was very attentive. Would return

   Overall food was good. Dumplings and shishito peppers great. Miso sea bass was cooked perfectly. King salmon (ordered cooked to medium), arrived rare. Took a while to have my meal come out again. So we ate separately. Manager did take care of the salmon entree. Noise level is very loud. Hard to have conversations.

    Everything about the place was sooo good! I was expecting it to be good because it’s a Vandelay restaurant, but it definitely exceeded my expectations. Charlie was our server and he was great! They have vegetarian options as well. We got the wagyu roll, veggie roll, miso soup, and espresso martinis. I’ll be back.
