The overall experience was exceptional amazing. Dawson was very attentive and very knowledgeable about every single courses. Which also shout out to the chefs that come up with the menu/concept. Everything tastes wonderful and definitely there are some ingredients I have never heard before. Another shout out to Abby who made our date night more fun and memorable with her service and characters.

I really wanted this place to be good but unfortunately there was nothing particularly impressive or amazing. Lovely staff and service, but also not so good at clearing tables or watching if cutlery is the same for everyone. Tl;dr save your money I’m finding it really hard to believe that all of their champagne and white wines can be so sour. It’s like whoever curated the wine list doesn’t have any sense of sourness or they haven’t tried the wine themselves. I was in disbelief that even the wine from Bordeaux was sour. How does that even happen. Tl;dr their wines are awful and the waiters aren’t aware of the tasting notes For food, instead of choosing the picnic menu, we chose the items we thought we would like best. For appetizers, we went with the Hamachi, duck confit pastry, and the oyster mushroom sandwich. We only liked the sandwich because it had the most flavour. The hamachi and duck tasted like they were never seasoned and relied on the sauces that came with the dish. It was bland and unremarkable. Cooking is all about balance and seasoning I’m just shocked. The best dish was probably the steak but again nothing remarkable that I’d have to come back for. The octopus was grilled perfectly but they added what tasted like hot dogs that looked like octopus and completely ruined the flavours. We also tried the burnt cabbage and it was great until eating the burnt bits. Once again a dish that relied on the sauce for flavour and wasn’t seasoned. I also believe that burnt food is fine as long as your remove the actual burnt parts and leave the charred parts only. Just seems really amateur I’m not sure what’s going on in the kitchen but they need help.

Nice dishes, especially the crispy potato and striploin. It’s a good restaurant for celebrating birthdays.

Often times you leave tasting menus feeling hungry, that was not the case here. Great portions sizes and tons of flavour. Highly recommend.

The service was much slower than we expected - for example we didn’t get our first cocktail for at least 30 min. It was also quite loud, we had to sit next to each other on the booth to be able to hold a conversation. They didn’t bring our drinks at the same time, comped us two glasses of champagne to fix that. We requested the service be faster so our items would come faster, which they did do. They brought us candles on our dessert and the whole place sang happy birthday to us - which was great! Great food. Friendly people. Just a rough start with the service speed. They also never explained how it worked, we had to just figure it out… weird.

We had an absolutely lovely time at Ore, the underground dining room. The tasting menu was playful, thoughtfully put together with an excellent wine pairing by Grapewitches. All of the staff were lovely, great communicators and the pacing of the menu was perfect. In particular, we loved the small touches of highlighting local makers like St. Brigid’s butter and Brodflour sourdough. Thank you for the marvellous evening!

We came here for my best friend's birthday. We did the cave section that has the prefix 8 courses with the wine pairings. It was absolutely phenomenal. The food and wine were incredible, really knowledgeable staff and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be coming back for other special occasions
