Had a hard time getting a reservation at a reasonable time (6:30 - 8:30). Finally got one for 5:30. The place was mostly empty throughout our 1 1/2 hour meal. They were out of beer and did not have the wine my wife requested off of the menu. We were comped an octopus appetizer which was great, probably because the fried calamari we ordered was over-cooked. My wife had scallops. Very good - only three scallops though. My friend had the filet mignon. Cooked well and excellent. I had lamb stew. It was like pot roast. Couldn't tell if it was lamb or beef. Kind of saw-dusty. 1 wine and two drinks, and the bill was over $300. Not the highlight of our trip or eating experiences in Old San Juan.

The sourdough bread of the Boquerones was burnt on the outside and cold on the inside. The Octopus was too salty. Everything else we had was very good. The service and attention to detail was very good.

Great food quality and the service was over the top. We called ahead with a special request and everything was handled perfectly. Ambiance is great but the food was wonderful.

This southern-Spanish gem takes dining to an entirely new level. I celebrated my birthday there last night, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Every detail, from the creative dishes to the impeccable ambiance, contributed to what I can confidently call one of the best culinary journeys I've ever had in PR. The food? Absolutely divine. Crafted in combination with the freshest local produce, each dish bursts with flavors that speak of both innovation and authenticity. It's clear that chef's José Álvarez artistry shines through in every bite, making this restaurant a true standout in Puerto Rico's thriving dining scene. This place isn’t just good—it’s a must-go. Highly recommended!

Not great food. We had lamb, cod, wild mushrooms and they weren’t appetizing at all.

I had some expectation since a friend recommended this restaurant and I have to tell you that I was not disappointed! The experience was a lot better than expected! Food was great and the experience was excellent. We had the best waiter ever Calil Lopez, who was very attentive, explained every dish in the menu that we had questions for and also asked us if we have any restriction or allergies. It is the first time that we were asked that in a fine dining restaurant. Thank you Calil. The food was so delicious and very well presented. We requested a Spanish red wine which was great with the food. My husband had the Torrezno crisp pork and it was so tender that it didn;t feel like meat! I had the pulpo and it was melting in my mouth! As main dish we had the paella with pork, so good and the portion was a lot for two persons. We had a chocolate mousse for dessert and that was exquisite. I'm a chocolate lover so Andaluz got me there! We closed the night at the bar with a whiskey shot and the ambience was great. Definitely, we will go back to try other dishes. Overall the experience was excellent, amazing food and ambience and worth what we paid.

I started with the tomato salad which was amazing. Followed by the braised lamb that is served with chickpeas. I could have had a bowl of just the chickpeas and broth and been happy. Also there Old fashion is amazing and hit the spot. Well made. I preferred the one made with Bulleit Rye rather than Don Q V.O. but both drinks were amazing. I wanted a third to be honest. I will def be back.

We loved our experience at Andaluz, we ordered the croquetas, pulpo, piquillos, as appetizers all delicious. In our table we had the Branzino and the Scallops. Our waitress, Arianna, excellent with her service. Cocktails were great as well. Keep up the good work!

Exquisite and fresh food that truly stands out. Every dish showcased a remarkable level of flavor, with each bite surpassing my expectations. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the meal, and it was clear that only the highest quality ingredients were used. What impressed me most was that many of the ingredients are locally sourced, which made the dishes even more authentic and fresh. The chef’s ability to balance flavors and create a truly memorable dining experience is unparalleled. I would wholeheartedly recommend the entire menu, as each offering is a testament to culinary excellence. Chef José Álvarez is an incredibly talented individual, yet remains humble and approachable, which adds a personal touch to the experience. It is rare to encounter such perfection in both the food and the service this is a restaurant I will undoubtedly return to.
