I don’t know where to start, I took my family and family friends for a birthday because I LOVE Andres in Bogota and Chia, I have been to the location in Bogota at least 60 times and most of the times with parties of over 20 people. I truly love the place in Colombia, we where going to celebrate a birthday that was on the same day 12-27, I put it as part of the reservation on top of that I told Emilio (server)in person (I know he heard me because he added the birthday cake to the bill (comped) and he also told me personally that instead of doing it now he was going to wait until we were done with dinner. NOBODY EVER CAME TO DO THR BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION. Emilio was more focused on getting phone numbers from girls (I saw him) than of taking care of my table. I heard other people complaining about the service as well and that will not be going back. I am one more customer that has been lost. I talked so good about the place / the atmosphere / the way servers so attentive in Colombia that this new location in Miami Beach has to be the same or better. Before I forget. The side dishes never came / we were finished with our dinner and I had asked Emilio 2 times already about side dishes. He ended up telling me that since they were been cooked at that time he was going to comp us the French fries and rice. That is not the point / we wanted the sides dishes with our dinner. Overall a bad experience. If anyone has been to the Colombia locations. This new one in Miami Beach is miles away from the service from Colombia, if you want to avoid disappointment do not go. I have to be fair and note that all the food was great, the Lomo Al trapo was not opened in front of me (keeping temperature hot longer) but it was superb. I hope this review goes to the right ears. Otherwise I don’t see this locations surviving. The he prices are much more that Bogota and Chia and I understand because of the location. But with those prices the expectation of greatness is +

Meat was ordered medium rare, but was served between medium and medium-well. Octopus was overcooked and a bit chewy. Chicharrones were not as crispy and lacked that bubbly skin. Empanadas, carimañolas, plaintain with cheese and guava were great. Coordination with bus boy on what food to deliver to each table was not well organized. The shrimp stew with coconut milk was perfectly cooked and tasty. The yuca fries were crispy, while the coconut rice was surprisingly brown in color and on the sweet side. The mandarino cocktail was fun to drink if you like sweet fruity drinks. Sebastian, our server, was extremely attentive and kept checking on us to make sure we received and enjoyed what we ordered. Sebastian was a 10 out of 10. Overall, a good experience, but maybe not up to the price point they are at.

Excellent ambience and great service. The food is overpriced for what they have to offer. Even in other high-end restaurants, food has more reasonable prices. For that kind of prices, food should be exquisite and abundant.

We waited a bit for our table, but they made sure to keep us happy with their amazing Colombian vibe, offering us free drinks and food. I really enjoyed my time there—it made me feel close to home and was exactly what I needed!

This restaurant should represent the iconing Andres Carnes de Res from Colombia. Sorry but it is not at all a representation of that. Treatment to customers is highly disrespectful. Reservations are ignored. My reservation for three at 08:15pm was honored forty (40) minutes late. Instead of a table, we got a hightable shared with other people. Chairs weare unsteady, noisy. They promised to give us a regular table as soon as it was one available. My reservation stated clearly, a table next to the live music. They gave the tables on the floor to many other people before consider us even if they did promised. Still worse, our drinks never arrived!! I order a mocktail named 'Ambrosia' in the drinks menu and the waitress did not even know that it existed. No drinks at all, except one glass of water for one of us, during the first hour. And please, the show, two women imitating handicap people with horrendos make up in the night of the 25th of december. It was more a halloween show than a 12/25. And why imitating handicap people? They said they were imitating dolls!! Why horror dolls making horrible gestures instead of pleasant characters? Colombian music? Not at all. Even the musical leader did ask if it was any Colombian in the audience and despite the masiv response, he kept playing a non identify musical gender for those who were looking for a nice christmast night a colombian flavor. This restaurant should not be named Andres Carne de Res. It should not be announced as a colombian representation and it should learn management and focus in a real respectful customer services. Ah!! And when we finally decided that we need to leave this toxic treatment, they gave us a bill with all the order included without even have been served. I refused to accepted, then they bring another bill charging the and the "one ceviche" we had in hour in the restaurant. The waiter though that it was graceful when he decided no to charge us and offered a table in the corner. No, thanks.
