   It was nice! A tad too warm for us (on the indoor patio with huge industrial heaters above us) but overall great food and great experience

   Great food, good value and very polite staff. One of my favourite places to go. Recently I took my family from Germany for late lunch. They enjoyed the tacos, salsa, guacamole and the best margaritas. We had a great time and I would recommend to visit Anejo!

   We visited here for a special family dinner to celebrate my parents’ birthday and the end of the year. Since my parents rarely get to try this type of cuisine, we thought it would be a unique treat. The restaurant’s spacious dining room, with its distinct Latin decor, created a pleasant atmosphere, although the dimly lit booth made it difficult for my parents to read the menu. We ordered Tableside Guacamole, Scallop Esquites, Pork Carnitas, Crispy Fish, Tacos De Camarón, Quesabirria, and Churros for dessert. While the focus here is more on atmosphere than gourmet Mexican cuisine, there were some highlights. The guacamole presentation was engaging, and the Scallop Esquites had a pleasant Latin kick. The Tacos De Camarón were the standout, with shrimp, avocado, pico de gallo, and serrano blending beautifully. However, the churros were greasy and heavier than expected, which was a letdown. The biggest disappointment was the service. Our server’s passive attitude and lack of follow-through, especially after promising to check on birthday perks, soured the experience. She rushed through interactions, disappeared frequently, and made payment unnecessarily delayed. In contrast, the person who appeared to be a manager handled everything professionally, offering smiles and patience amidst the busy environment. If I could, I would say the tip we left was for her, not the server. Overall, while the atmosphere and a few dishes stood out, the lackluster service made the dinner far less enjoyable than it could have been. I’ve had better hospitality over a $3 coffee, which makes this experience all the more disappointing.

   Staff was fantastic. Heated patio is beautiful. But food got a bit cold faster - no one’s fault. We should just eat faster!

   Anejo is always a good place to go! Good vibes, cheap drinks and food especially during happy hour. Overall a good experience especially for a nice night out

   We tried the restaurant because we had a gift card. We already frequent a couple of very good ma & pa Mexican restaurants, but we did not expect this chain restaurant to match their quality. We shared 4 items: -nachos with 5 different dips and toppings; this was very good. The various familiar toppings were very flavorful. They were quick to bring out more chips when we ran out. -Ribs appetizer: This was the best dish we tried. The plate had 6 meaty ribs with a very distinct and interesting flavor, this was nicely done. -6 various tacos. There's a choice of flour or corn taco shells, we chose the corn of course. This was very disappointing. We had a variety of beef birria, chicken tikka and pulled pork. The beef had ok flavor, though not nearly as good as the other Mexican places we go to. The other tacos were very bland. The pork had no marinade and was devoid of any Mexican spices of flavors, very dry as well. The chicken was doughy and rubbery. The filling was generous though. -Mahi mahi tacos: The fish was very dry, overcooked, and again devoid of Mexican spicing. We did not finish it. -The taco shells were also not heated, cold taco shells is a no-no for me. The service was very good, our waitress was excellent. We did give our opinion of the food, and they comped us the taco dish, which was nice. We don't expect chain restaurants like this to change things dramatically, the place was humming and I guess most people are fine with the food. But we won't be back. We did not try their maguarittas.

   We requested corn tortilla due to my girlfriend’s gluten intolerance but our first taco came with flavour tortilla and second round came with corn. We realized when we get the second round. She had a stomach issue all night long.

    We absolutely love it at Anejo. The food is always delicious. We got the mail Zalal Saft tasting platter to share. By far one of my favourite appetizers there. I had three tacos. The beef, crispy fish and mushrooms. The beef was absolutely delicious. The crispy fish was good, but it needed some sauce on it so I added the salsa Verde from the sampler. The mushroom with walnuts was over seasoned and I would probably forgo it the next time but I’m glad I tried it at least once.
