   Angelos has changed over 25 years when I first went their . The time of day mid week the place was 90% setup for a function so it didn’t have the feel of being in cosy restaurant like it used to be. However if the place was fitted out for normal seating then it would have a different atmosphere. I guess I just turned up on the wrong day. Definitely is a great place to hold a function but the room is not separated between function and normal dining.

   We were celebrating a friend’s special birthday so Angelo’s was the perfect venue! When making the booking I asked for a table near a window overlooking the water which we were given. The service was attentive without being intrusive and everyone’s meals were delicious. Will definitely be back!

   An absolutely delicious meal, so pleased we returned and tried the new menu under the new owner and chef. Menu is seasonal (which I love!), we had, salt and pepper calamari and pumpkin flowers for entrees. Rib and a pasta dish (with the most amazing sauce) for main. And several desserts. Every meal was presented beautifully and tasted devine! The location, that view by the water and the restaurant's atheistic is stunning! I'll be back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

   Easy access with parking nearby. Good varied menu to suit every taste with broad beer and wine selection. Everything ordered was well prepared and served efficiently. Slight hiccup with a knife in table setting not cleaned properly but this was attended to with replacement immediately.

   I honestly expected more. I took my friends there today so we can try it for the first time and to see if we’ll book it for our son’s holy communion. We sat on a table and waited for the menus before we asked the waiters for a menu. Then the waiters asked us if we would like any drinks and we didn’t even have drinks menu. I had spoken to a guy who deals with events and told him that we are here to try Angelo’s as we wanted to book it for my son’s holy communion. You would think that they would care more or even offer us things to try from the function menu as they had a couple of functions happening today No not at all, not even offered us a smile to be honest. After we ordered, they forgot to mention to us that there were no oysters lol and then didn’t even offer us something else. The kids food came after all the adults food I think I was just expecting more Food was really good though!!! So well done on that But service and the ambience are everything for me

   Excellent local restaurant by the water. We were given the private room for our group of 11 which was a lovely surprise. Gordon, who looked after us on the day was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. He also contacted us beforehand and they were very accommodating. The food was all really good though a guest mentioned the lamb was a bit dry. The sizes of the mains were all very generous and we were all so full we couldn’t fit any dessert in. But we still had to try a couple to share. The decor of the place is modern and casual though a bit of soundproofing would help with the noise levels.

   My wife and I both ordered the chicken breast, which was very nice, but there wasn't a lot of food on the plate, with just two "small to average" pieces of chicken and pumpkin. My constructive feedback would be to add a couple of roasted potatoes to the meal, as what we were served for $40 wouldn't encourage me to return to the restaurant, plus two potatoes wouldn't cost the restaurant much money at all.

    What a hidden gem Angelo’s is - beautiful food, handmade pastas, fresh everything and so tasty with waterviews so expansive and close you can literally walk out the front and into the bay. We had an event here years ago and am so glad we’ve come back … will become a part of our regular meals out!
