   Fish of fish and chips was over cooked and the third piece was very thin and not much meat; in general it was very crispy: What happened to the great fish and chips I had enjoyed and bragged about in the past???? Better look at today’s Chef. We have been a steady customer for almost 29 years and are disappointed. Victor

   Excellent food and service with a beautiful view overlooking Budd Inlet. This was a 40th Anniversary dinner and it couldn’t have gone better. The early seating before 5:30 is a great value. The regular dinner menu is definitely pricey, especially the steaks. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant.

   Server was under attentive possibly due to understaffing. Server discouraged me from offering the dessert of my choice because it would take too long to prepare.

   Very nice place to eat. The bread is amazing as well as the drinks and appetizers. The steaks are okay, they were cooked perfectly. The ribeyes were a little thin with a lot of fat on them. A 14 oz steak is more like 10oz of meat and 4oz of fat. All in all it was a great night, and the waitress was fun and very attentive.

   Early 3-part dinner is good value. Nice variety of choices. Tonight's barbecue shrimp, always a favorite, was almost too peppery to taste this time. The brussels sprouts and potatoes were great, and the burnt cream was sublime. Noise level there is always a challenge and tonight, being more busy than usual, it was hard to converse with dinner partner. But the view was lovely, with sunlight on clouds, and the service was excellent.

   We usually dine at Anthony's Homeport but decided to try the Sunset Dinner here. Hostess was great and engaging. Staff overall were friendly. Service alas was slow which I believe was the result of our server having too large of an area to serve and the kitchen being really slow in getting orders out. To have to wait in excess of 15 minutes for a cup of tomato soup is ridiculous. Soup was hot and delicious when it was served. My wife's chicken potpie was actually a heavy chicken gravy with a few small pieces of chicken and some vegetables in a small cast iron skillet with a round pie crust sitting on a quarter of it. This was tepid and had a strange aftertaste. Accompany the "pie" were roasted brussels sprouts. I should mention my had stomach issues during the night after this dinner. My grilled salmon was served hot but alas the accompanying mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts were tepid. I believe dinners should be offered a choice of another vegetable of the day is roasted brussels sprouts. Dessert was fine. We'll probably continue to dine at the Homeport as the service is better and food is served hot. Menu's at both are fairly similar as are prices. .
