    quickly became one of my favorite restaurants in LA. It’s expensive but worth every penny, especially as the restaurant is pretty generous with the portions. The Pane with pistachios and ricotta is amazing along with the the broccolini caesar salad. The uni pasta is simple and elegant, and one of the best i’ve had, especially topped with grade A uni. Don’t skip dessert and take any digestifif offered. $350 for 2 people. Not cheap, but well worth it and unique amongst the many high end choices in Los Angeles

    A beautiful room undone by a disappointing meal. By the glass nebbiolo was too young and too cold. The primary flavor of the sauce on the pappardelle was fat. The chicken reminded me why I don't order roast chicken out; so dry I choked.

    Really great food and ambiance. Was a bit awkward because we didn’t come super hungry but still ordered an appetizer, two pastas, and a dessert and was made to feel like we should’ve ordered / spent more. The portions were indeed very small. When we asked for the dessert menu, the waiter asked if we wanted the dinner menu instead.

    Second time eating at Antico Nuovo and not as good as the first time. First the good part, - Food: the focaccia, plin dell’ Alta langa and the pollo e crostone were excellent as was the pistachio gelato. - Service: Rebecca was our server and was wonderful. She was very attentive and courteous. - Ambiance: the place was full of patrons with a vibrant ambiance, loud at times. - The not so good: the caponata was not very good. Essentially some marianated onion with eggplant but no olives to be found and pricey. The kingfish crudo was below average and overpriced. The spaghetti ricci di mare was inedible. Very salty and had to be returned. - Value: not very good for the quality of the food. A restaurant of this category should have an impeccably tasting menu.
