I think you go to Antoine’s because it is a classic. The service is attentive. The front room, where we were seated, feels more like a dance hall than a fine dining restaurant. The presentation of the Baked Alaska if they prep it table side is impressive. The serving size of everything is huge. Have the Hemingway daiquiri, not served many places and theirs is the real deal.

Hey Alice, thank you so much for your kind words. We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our classic vibe and big servings. We're also glad to know that you appreciated our attentive service and impressive presentation of the Baked Alaska. We look forward to welcoming you back to Antoine's soon!

I had been to this restaurant a couple of years ago and my experience was wonderful... regrefully this time around it was horrible. I never imagined a restaurant without reputation would serve such crap. I'm very annoyed and disappointed.

Gonzalez, I apologize for your experience. We only hope you'll return to give us another chance to impress.

I really wanted to enjoy this historical restaurant. The location is perfect in the heart of the French Quarter. Ambiance and decor are impeccable and the food was good. However, our service was disappointing. We ordered appetizers, soups, and entrees as well as the baked Alaska for dessert. Some of our group got soup for entrees. The food came out sporadically and out of order. People were getting entrees as others were getting soups. The people who got soups as their entree were finished before everyone else got their food. My husband ordered wine with his dinner that he never received. Water glasses were not refilled. The food was good but at $14 pp, I don’t recommend the baked Alaska. Everyone at the table was required to get it if it was ordered. As a person who doesn’t like vanilla ice cream, it was $14 wasted. It was worth going once as it is an iconic restaurant, but I don’t think we’ll be back

Hey Emily, we're glad you enjoyed the ambiance and decor, but are sorry to hear about the service. We apologize for the mix-up with your orders and the delay in your husband receiving his wine. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our service. We hope you'll give us another chance to make your next visit a better one. Regardless, wishing you and yours happy holidays.

This is the best restaurant we have in NOLA so far: the staffs are professional, the walls of pictures exhibits rich history of this place. We are family of five, all the food we ordered, the starters, the entries and desert- each of them are sophisticated prepared without exception, and they’re delicious. Of course finished with the exciting Café Brulot Diabolique! We all agree we have great dining experience!
