AO Hawaiian Hideout (est.2013) is a husband and wife team, serving ono grinds & boozy libations. We invite you to join us on a journey through the tropics...our little hidden gem, serving home-style comfort foods that will have you coming back for more. Sit back, relax and enjoy a Mai Tai, Pina Colada, Tiki-la Style Passionfruit Margarita or Lychee Martini in our home away from home. Come one or come all, as we are a short walk from Chicago's main attractions. We offer dine-in, carry-out, delivery, catering and buffets for large party celebrations.

Wonderful food and amazing drinks. The short ribs were yummy! Rice is to die for. Nice service, but a bit slow to recognize us to take orders.

We loved every moment of this meal. There was a group of 7 of us and we shared everything. Kalua pig, vegan rice with tofu, chicken with vegetables, edamame, lumpia, and all of the fancy drinks! If I could recommend something for them is to add more coconut dishes to the menu. Was hoping for haupia!

We were promptly seated and served. I couldn’t believe how quickly we received our food and drinks. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was calm. I really enjoyed the aesthetic of the place. Everyone was so kind as well. I think this is a hidden gem because there was hardly anyone there! Super shocking because we had an awesome experience. This was our first visit and definitely plan to visit again. Told all my friends and family about this spot!

This is officially one of my favorite places! PJ and Woody were great! The food (especially the PuPu platter, cucumber kimchi, and garlic shrimp noodles) were delicious. Their cocktails were stellar, my favorite was the Dr. Lee. So good all around, I can’t wait to come back.
