Just moved to Chicago, my friends were telling us about this joint. Everything we had was really good. My favorite was the spam musubi and kalbi. The egg rolls were huge and flavorful. My wife had the honey shrimp and noodles. We had lots of leftovers and ordered veggie parang curry to go. Can't wait to come back next week with some family to celebrate the Holidays

Greeted warmly by owner. Atmosphere: 10/10. The place was empty but it was cold outside so it might have been cuz of the weather. They have a QR code menu & it was our 1st time there so we needed a min to look at the menu. Our server seemed a lil annoyed that we asked for a minute (twice) but after that she was nice. They were out of Sapporo beer. That was strange cuz there are signs everywhere in the restaurant advertising the beer. My husband ordered their signature drink: Lilikoi. It’s advertised as a drink that has 2 diff flavors. The 1st flavor is before mixing & the 2nd flavor is after you mix it. After mixing, the drink wasn’t great. Before mixing, the drink was GREAT. We ordered the teaser sampler: 2crab rangoons, 2egg rolls, 2tempura shrimps & 2potstickers. The Rangoon was good but there was a lot of cream cheese & little crab. The rolls had cinnamon in them. I didn’t enjoy a savory food w cinnamon. The tempura shrimp was INCREDIBLE. The potstickers were good (comes w two sauces: one tastes like a sweet & sour sauce & the other like a spicy hoisin sauce). We had zesty orange chicken. My husband said he liked it a lot. I felt that the chicken had a fishy after taste so I stopped eating it. It comes w jasmine rice & 4pcs of broccoli. The rice was good but the broccoli was a little hard. I ordered a Tsingtao & was grossed out when I received a dirty glass w lip stains on the rim. I didn’t think to take a picture & didn’t feel comfortable complaining (nor am I trying to embarrass the restaurant but I can’t just keep that to myself. It was a big deal to me. It’s unsanitary). We had Kalua Pig: comes w jasmine rice, kimchi cucumber & mac. It was good but after the dirty glass, I lost my appetite & just wanted to leave. I was questioning the sanitation. Total was $78. Fairly pricey.

Had a great time, ordered a passionfruit drink and my hubby had the Mai Tai. Crab Rangoon was the best I’ve had, had a bit me if the spam musubi. Ordered way too much, but was happy to bring home leftovers. Everything was delicious.

I have never heard of this place but took a shot and booked through open table. It was phenomenal, we even met with the owner Betty and told us that they have been around for over a decade. Why is this place not packed?!?! We started with a Mai Tai and lychee martini, my boyfriend ordered the spam musubi and nachos…oh my, super fresh and absolutely delicious. For dinner we shared Kalbi and loco moco. I am telling everyone, they need to come and try for themselves.
