Over hyped not worth it. We went for a date night and expected way more.. No one came to us for about 30 mins after being sat and the seating is super tight you could literally be shoulder to shoulder with the table next to you. Laz was our server told us how they have “cocktails” but none of them have real liquor. Everything is wine based and they only serve wine & two beers on the menu. Food TRASH & overpriced for the quality.. Waited over an hour for our food just to be sent back. The ambience is nice for pictures but that’s about it . I feel their management needs to change their focus on the service inside more with staff and satisfaction of customers. Save your time & Money- you can check out way better local jazz bars / restaurants in the gables than this place.

Server Lazaro was awful. Charged us for something we did not want because he didn't clarify with us beforehand. Guy that served us water was pouring it into our sodas repeatedly and when we told him, he didn't replace our drinks which were still full. We waited the longest out of everyone to be seated yet we got the table in the back near the kitchen and bathrooms. We had to ask three times to get menus and it took an extra 15 minutes or so to have our order taken. We got to the restaurant at 10 sharp and got out food at nearly midnight. On top of everything two items we ordered were unavailable and Lazaro decided to charge us for an included side and kept fighting us on it. Ridiculous service overall. the only good worker was the host!!!!

What a COOL place! Has TREMEDOUS POTENTIAL! Small, intimate, groovy, jazz club. The place; the service, the ambience, and the jazz are GREAT! BUT, they need a liquor license, and, a total overhaul of the menu!

I’ve been to many Jazz joints in the U.S & never had a bad experience. This place proved there’s a first time for everything. Arrived & waited 10 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation. Not a big deal. Got shoved into a makeshift corner with no actual view of the band which eliminates half the experience. Jazz band didn’t play for the entire time we were there until the end (maybe they had intermission) okay fine, but no introduction for the band, very informal. This is not a proper place if you want to formally enjoy live musicians. We didn’t get food so I can’t speak on that. Drinks were good. System was down & we didn’t have cash on hand so they had to figure it out. You don’t hear much about this place for a reason. I’m sure there’s a better place to actually enjoy Jazz in South FL because this wasn’t it.

Outstanding jazz club! While the limited menu and quality of food could be improved this cute restaurant/club has wonderful ambiance, outstanding service (thank you Alexander), and of course enjoyable jazz. The owner has put his personal touch on this space with so many shelves of knick knacks, artwork, figurines, posters, and amazing chandeliers to set the mood. The jazz threesome was wonderful and not too loud for the small space. Definitely coming back.

Bar was out of most whiskey, and most beers. All liquors are fermented (drinks are a little different than you would expect). Truffle fries were actually wedges. Over cooked and tasted like oil.

Not a great first impression. The jazz band was the best part which saved the evening but the service was unimpressive. The hostess didn’t give the free shots to my party but did give the free drinks to the couple in front of us and the couple who walked in after. The tables are too large for the space and could be smaller to allow staff to walk through the restaurant without constantly bumping into one another. The restaurant has nice touches like warm towels but it doesn’t make up for slow food service or foods that’s are just out of stock. Also they are out of whisky/bourbon/scotch which kinda ruins the vibe for a jazz club. Overall, glad I went but won’t be returning since there is another jazz club on the next corner that provides a similar atmosphere but with friendly and attentetive staff, and also had a full available menu.
