Surprised this place has OpenTable, to be honest. Found it by chance while looking through the app. It’s a small cafe in the back of a gallery so it felt a bit awkward to show up saying we had reservations. Table was super sticky, and we waited a long time for someone to come by and take our drink order. And waited a while for it to arrive.

We went for a quick light meal before a movie and found the atmosphere lovely and inviting, the staff were gracious the service was attentive and the food was fresh and delicious. We were going to order crepes but found so many other items on the menu.. would definitely go back again to try other offerings. The gallery adds to the atmosphere and there was a mix of people when we were there, a family with a child, myself with my teenagers and two couples on dates. Kind and welcoming staff made us feel comfortable immediately although this was our first time at Art Square.

I have been before at Art square Gallery and Cafe.It was amazing atmosphere.I ordered Smoke salmon and cheese crepe which is just awesome and my friend got cabbages but the rice was still raw,did not like it.By the way, you might go to kitchen to order foods because the server doesn't speak English. He told us to talk to his friends who is in the kitchen because he didn't understand us.

The place is nice and quite. The food a little overcharged, and the service bad.. I had a nice experience on my first day, but the second time I got different staff who were quite disagreeable.

Small place.. not too many tables so makes it intimate and cozy... very cool vibe... thanks to the open kitchen and the fact that it is a beautiful gallery. Great pieces to look at and buy and it's nice to be surrounded by friendly people and art while enjoying a delicious meal. The good is fresh and delicious and the service is really friendly. They also have delicious Turkish coffee...

Unfortunately the upstairs has no, or they don't run, A/C. The downstairs is chilly! We sat on the patio which is small and crowded. More of an art gallery than a place to enjoy food. The Sangria was too sweet and didn't seem to have wine in it? They added some for us which was nice. The open kitchen is cute and seemed clean enough. Not enough staff to cover busy times though. We had to go up to the cash for menus and up to the cash to order or nothing would have happened. Inexperience and lack of observation seem to be the problem. Food: the salad was simple but fresh, the omelet was served "open faced" in its cast iron skillet so quickly became overcooked. They would do well to fold the eggs when they are more runny and put a couple of grilled veg in the space if you want the cast iron look! A nice warm welcome with cucumber ice cold water (it was hot in there!) would go a long way...paper menus on a clipboard is cute but gee whiz get more of them! The staff had to go looking for a menu even thought the place only seats about 25 people...I would think, if not busy at all this could have been a better experience. But who wishes that on a resty? Get more or better staff, assign jobs and go for it! Hope they stick around. Is a nice concept but I wouldn't go for a meal again...may pop in for a sweet desert or crepe and coffee another time.

An easy place to sit and a relaxed atmposhere Too. Crepes were excellent -tasty and not too much. Although a small place it did not feel crowded or too busy and we were there at lunch hour. Perfect for visiting the AGO.

Our omelettes were tasty, but I had really come in for crepes. I did not like any of the filling choices for the savoury crepes. I am used to chicken, ham or cheese that is not feta. The crepes suzette were tasty as were the profiteroles. Our server was very slow and forgetful. At one point she brought my latte with her fingers on the rim of the cup.....ugh....not very sanitary! All in all I would not go back, but it was worth a try.
