We visited late Sunday afternoon, so it wasn't busy and hence wasnt noisy - decor nice and service attentive - food was OK, but not outstanding - did have to wait quite a while between starter and main courses - plates hadn't been warmed which meant that rare cooked lamb quickly went cold on the table

It has all the makings of a great restaurant - but sadly fell short. To start the menus were laminated paper….like something my kid brings home from school. I’m guessing the reason is to avoid them getting dirty and throwing away paper - however one other menus was smeared in food. So if you’re going to laminate them, at least clean them. On ordering the wine, mine was nearly poured into a tumbler vs the wine glass laid out. I had to correct the waiter. The bottle was also then just plonked right in front of me vs in the middle of the table or taken away. We all had to top up our own glasses. The food was mixed - starters great. And a nice gap before main was served. The veggie risotto was great but the steak/lamb dishes were chewy and fatty. Not served with a steak knife and not the quality expected given the price. The manager did remove a starter from the bill after mentioning the chewy lamb specifically. So overall had high hopes but left disappointed.

Lovely ambience, attentive staff and good range of dishes on menu. Risotto and veg very good, sirloin steak was a little disappointing, so taking off a star there.

The food was great and the service was fantastic until they switched staff and then it went to being absolutely awful. We were ignored, when we asked for things, we didn’t get it, they missed desserts, we had to get our own coats from their cupboard (after asking for them) and the lady who tried to open a bottle of wine, clearly didn’t have a clue what she was doing, broke the cork in half and the whole process was painful to watch. Considering how great it was at the start, it was a very disappointing end to the meal. Also they knew it was my birthday and did nothing special - very disappointing

Greeted by Lovely very friendly charming staff, in fact staff in the front of hotel were very friendly faultless. We met our cousins who arrived from New York so we booked a meal at the Art Yard. Very little portion of food for alot of money, little plate of pasta for £85 a couple quite a pathetic meal nothing to show for your money. Total rip off £170. for 4 portions. Didn't want to make a complaint in front of our family as they just arrived from a long journey. Clean shiny cutlery, crockery spotless lovely waitor, but nothing much to eat.... Extremely disappointed....

They even prepared a gluten free bread from scratch for us. Amazing service. Perfect menu, good vine. And the ambiance is not loud , allows you to to have a conversation. Very happy with that choice.

Great venue, tucked into a calm courtyard away from the bustle of London’s streets. This was a great location for a business meeting. The Menu was ample and the food was delicious. The staff were exceptional, super attentive; polite and professional. I look forward to my next visit.
