Booked this place for my birthday dinner with a table for six, and I was so shocked when we were seated at a row of six bar stools instead. For a birthday meal, it felt completely ridiculous – who wants to sit in a straight line, barely able to chat properly? I told the staff I’d booked a standard table, but her response was, “I know you booked a table, but this is all we’ve got left, sorry.” Whattttt?! After some back and forth (and I’d rather leave than sit like that), they eventually found us a proper table. From that point on, things improved. The service was good, and it wasn’t even that busy for a Saturday evening. We ended up staying until 10 p.m., way longer than the usual two-hour limit. The staff (A very nice and polite man) were very sweet, helping us unfreeze the cake and even playing a birthday song for me, which I really appreciated. That said, the pairing menu (£45) was absolutely brilliant, and the cocktails were top-notch. I’d totally recommend this place for a date night or a girly catch-up – the vibe is perfect for that. But for a special occasion like a birthday? Probably not, unless you’re willing to deal with potentially awkward seating.

Love love loved it! What a place! Fabulous little find in the madness of the center of Soho. Gorgeous food, amazing cocktails, super friendly staff with real care and attention to detail. Loved talking cocktails with them at the bar and learning more. Food was delicious and really good value. Would highly recommend.

The food and cocktail pairings menu was excellent. We really enjoyed all our meals and drinks. The service was also lovely, the waitress who served us gave us recommendations and was super friendly and sweet. The issue was, the service was extremely slow. From the moment we got there, we told our server we were seeing a Westend show, had to repeatedly tell her we were going to have to leave by a certain time / that we were running really quite late now because everything was taking so long, and despite all our prompts, the service was still incredibly slow. We didn’t have the time to finish our last course and drinks, had to get paper cups for our drinks to take them away which was far from idea but also even that took a while to get. There was just no sense of urgency whatsoever despite all our prompts. And the main issue is, our booking was for 4:30pm and the restaurant was empty when we got there and put our order in (not just one course, we ordered all three in one go). So it was hard to comprehend why everything took so incredibly long. We did really enjoy our food and our server was lovely but our experience was ruined by the delays to our sevice in the end which is such a shame.

We had a pre-theatre meal on the time out/set menu deal at 5pm on a Saturday. Service was pretty slow despite being a tiny venue, we didn't start eating till 55 minutes after sitting down. Bread or nibbles would have been appreciated. Two (of the seven) items on the set menu weren't available either, although this wasn't explained to us until after we ordered, which inevitably leaves you feeling disappointed. Food when it arrived (especially Mac and cheese and steak) were very tasty, and cocktails were boozy enough, but overall I don't think I'd come here for a regular meal.

It’s sold as a cocktail bar but has plain pre-made cocktails stored in bottles. The chips tasted old, I think they were just warmed up. Tiny place, cheap vibes, I will definitely not go back. Waiter was very nice, though.

Delicious food and very good service. The tables are very close together, so you can feel squashed with other guests. We didn't have the table for as long as I would like, so it did feel a bit rushed.
