Atlantic Grill, located near Lincoln Center, Central Park and Columbus Circle, has reopened with a new look, feel and menu from Monte Carlo Hospitality Group and Michelin-starred Chef Antonio Salvatore. Under their guidance, Atlantic Grill’s refreshed menu aims to please previous regulars and new guests alike.
The restaurant continues to celebrate the freshest seafood from the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea, the finest cuts of meat and local seasonal produce with Chef Antonio’s signature Mediterranean flare and nods to dishes and ingredients located in or near other major global bodies of water.
On view is an abundance of fresh fish displayed on ice are showcased through the raw bar or sushi bar selections. An emphasis on a “catch of the day” program affords Chef the opportunity to present the day’s item in various ways including sashimi, ceviche, grilled, and more.

                  Relaxing and comfortable ambience. Easy to hold a conversation. Service was very attentive and timely. They were sensitive to our need to get to a performance on time. Food was perfectly prepared.

                  We came here before our jazz show for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised with the vibrant atmosphere. We had sushi and 2 amazing mocktails since we are doing dry January. The server Juan had amazing recommendations and was very kind. Atlantic Grill will be seeing us again!

                  Everything was lovely except the waiter was grabbing plates out from under us! We were having a deep conversation over dessert and coffee and the guy insists on clearing dessert plates. Moving all around the table his arm reaching for plates. Why? The restaurant was empty. Wait until we leave. Same with pouring water. Why do the waiters have to interrupt our conversation to ask us if we want a refill of tap water.

                  We were surprised to find it had a scented candle aroma which was not pleasant where food should be what you smell. The waiter was humorless despite our efforts at being friendly, the food was very overpriced and not special enough. My arugula salad had a huge helping of tasty fresh arugula with about three grape tomatoes and two slivers of Romano cheese. Pizza was mushy crust and unimaginative. The sushi appetizer was good however, and the grilled salmon was fine but not great. Interestingly, the dessert yogurt ice cream was spectacular. Overall, neither food nor ambience were worth the cost. We will not be returning.
